TRAINING: [[this was my experience]] This is not a money-friendly set-up. There is no back-up if your trainer is ill or has something come up. [As someone new to training, I incorrectly believed that training managers stepped in if that was the case.] At least once, the trainer ended a session 15min early due to having an "end time" that she could work up to (I was unaware of this time) and the 15min was not added to any subsequent sessions. For 2 weeks, the computer system was down. One would think training could continue and be deducted when the system came back, but that wasn't the case. Even with the training program eating two weeks and my trainer and I both being on vacation for the same week, the sessions "ended" in July. [The 2nd end-date. Originally was supposed to finish in April, but I would have lost over $800 dollars due to frequent cancellations on my trainer's end. Granted extension after extensive arguing and finally threatening to contact the Better Business Bureau.] In the end, I lost about $467.50. I highly recommend looking at other options if training is something you want [or just be okay with paying more than you anticipate]. Still gave 1/5 due to having good sessions when they occurred. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Slow response to concerns. Management is relatively newer. Should work well if your main need in a gym is cardio equipment or commercial atmosphere. Just doesn't fit my personal needs. Massenomics Gym in Aberdeen would be the optimal choice if you are interested in serious weight training. read more
