Update March 2023: The entire true story of Anytime Fitness violating contractual promises to original members (word limit too long to fit Google Reviews, see attached Google Document shared publically): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1K6uZAmVpEBQLgLgO4ZXJcn8c8PIa-OIJJxACIulVaPE/edit?usp=drivesdk August 2022: I was under the grandfather clause of my contract and the gym owner came up and stated he wouldn't honor the contract promising a lifetime rate and no new contracts (month-to-month after two initial contractual years). He upcharged me and forced me to sign a new contract. I reach out to two nearby Anytime Fitness managers that confirmed his unethical use of the statement on the contract stating they can cancel memberships as I didn't violate any rules (which is the purpose of that statement on the contract). When I became a member, I was told that as long as I kept my membership I'd be grandfathered in at the same rate for life because Anytime values lifelong members. I even paid for the membership when I didn't live by an Anytime Fitness to keep my grandfathered in rate. Furthermore, current staff uses excuse of coaching club to push members out of the way for classes and personal training. They use entire sets of equipment leaving none for original members (ex: mats, dumbbells). The sad part is that when these new members reach their goals, they will be stepped on in favor of new short-term members. This is a direct violation of Anytime Fitness purpose, Mission, and culture. I paid for membership to this gym while the chain was growing, meaning I had to pay to use other gyms before they grew to cities I traveled to, and now that they've grown because of members like me, they are stepping on us (violating best business practice and ethics). I would've given Anytime a 15 out of 10 prior to this experience. I want to note that the new owner is kind and worked with me on a new contract, but it doesn't honor any of the promises and contractual obligations Anytime Fitness made with me when I joined. I reported the issue to member relations and they haven't made it right. I have used this gym due to their original mission and values to stay healthy instead of sleeping while staying with my daughter at Children's Hospital (to be a strong dad and role model), and I promised her at her funeral I'd fight unethical actions with all of my might. Anytime Fitness needs to make good on its contractual and word-of-mouth promises to all of its members, even those who carried it to success. The gym promises fitness anytime and anywhere to its members, and that is vital due to how much our healthcare system cannot do for you even at the best hospitals. The best way to ensure good health, is to keep up with fitness anytime and anywhere. Also, they stated that the gym needed a larger facility when it had 40 to 50% less members and I was told my increased rate would keep numbers low. Now, after adding close to 50% more members, they haven't expanded as promised over 5 years ago. If they want to add new members, that is great and should be a goal, more resources and space need to be obtained instead of stepping on original loyal members. read more

Oh man, where do I start? The staff is super awesome first off. They take time to go over your goals and get you on a path to achieve them. Second, the facility is super clean! I've been at other gyms (Golds, Xperience, Western, Y, etc.) and none of them compare to how clean Anytime is. It is top notch with equipment for the price point. The clientele is really friendly too. People leave you be or if you need to jump on a machine they are always friendly and I've been able to work in. Seriously I can't praise this gym enough. I read this Tiffany review of it and it really cracked me up. You got stares from sweaty guys working out? NO KIDDING? At a GYM? SWEATY GUYS? Give me a break. If people take tours you're naturally going to take a peek over at them; they are in street clothes in a gym. Sounds like you need a reality check rather than a gym. Oh, and you do have group class options - you just have to look at the schedule because there are definitely programs going on all the time. Seriously you didn't even check. Anyway, this is the best place to workout in Oshkosh and the Fox Valley if you hit up Green Bay/Appleton too! (Note: I am from Oshkosh, WI... don't know why it says San Fran) read more

I have been a member for a long time of Anytime Fitness in Oshkosh. I also had memberships at other gyms in Oshkosh that I won't mention but you can get all what they offer and then some all at Anytime Fitness in Oshkosh . No Pool or Gym but what's the big deal . The amount of different workouts you can do are endless from, TRX cable workouts , 24 hour workout Classes in a private area that you can pick your own workout , Kettle Bells and many other workouts . Awesome friendly staff that's always willing to help you reach your goals . So if you are in town visiting or passing through Oshkosh stop in and enjoy a great friendly atmosphere and get a excellent workout in . read more

I absolutely love the Oshkosh Anytime Fitness! The staff is friendly, helpful, and dedicated to your fitness goals. Any time I need help, someone is there to assist me. I can take on demand classes of any kind with their on demand class kiosk and projector set up and I can work out whenever it fits into my schedule. Running Man rewards can be earned by referring people to the club, and you can use that on gear, dues, pretty much anything. I also love the fact that I can tan there, too. They also have a ton of fun activities going on within the gym throughout each month to keep things fun and entertaining. I would recommend this gym to anyone! LOVE IT! read more

I recently moved to the area and the first time I went into the Oshkosh anytime fitness I was greeted and showed around immediately. The staff is always helpful with workouts and fitness advice; they are alll certified trainers and very knowledgeable. The facility was clean and has a wide variety of cardiovascular and weight lifting machines. There is also a good stretching area and projected video room to do personalized workouts for any skill level. The tanning beds are also another perk. The atmosphere is inviting and 24 hours 7 days a week with many locations for travel convienance; I would recommend this gym to everyone. read more

I joined this gym in February. It's a very clean, organized gym and I love the staff and the trainers. They are all very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Most of the members their are very friendly. It is an all around good atmosphere. The manager, Nick is willing to call you and check up and see how things are going. The staff is their to listen or you can ask them about any questions you have for gym exercises/using equipment and they are glad and willing to help! The only thing is it could be a bit more affordable. If I didn't have money saved up, I probably would not be able to afford this gym. read more

I have been going to Anytime Fitness for quite a few years now and one thing that keeps coming back is the staff. Nick, Morgan, Jason, Kara, Brittnee and Brian are all very encouraging and knowledgeable people. You can come to them with any question about diets, fitness or just to chat. If your new to gyms they will wipe away all your concerns and be there with you every step of the way. There might be cheaper or more convenient options but a healthy, clean, and friendly work out environment out weighs all of those things. 100% recommended! read more

This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. The gym is always super clean, the equipment is well taken care of and the staff are all incredible. Very friendly gym that has so many different options from feee weights, to machines, to group exercise programs. I travel a lot for work and visit other clubs and not a single one has come even close to this gym. Not only is the staff super friendly and helpful but the other fellow members are just as friendly. I joined Anytime Fitness about 3 years ago and havent stopped working out since. I tried many of the other gyms in Oshkosh and not one of them compares to what Anytime offers. It is not the cheapest but as in most things with life you get what you pay for. The management staff of Morgan Oakly and Nick Hawley do an excellent job knowing the health aspects of each member to help develop individual fitness programs that will allow them to achieve success. I can't say enough about how great this facility is! I have tried the $10 gyms in Appleton, but never saw any success there - it was too crowded, and no one cared if I went or not. I joined Anytime about a year ago - and it's been nothing short of phenomenal. The staff is incredible - and have helped me so much. I love this place! It has an awesome vibe. The staff is super friendly and very willing to help. I was worried about feeling intimidated because I am not a regular exerciser. The staff made me feel very comfortable and set me up with a plan for no extra charge. Can't say enough about the place! I like how the employees remember you as a person and not just another customer. I like being greeted and welcomed by all of the employees. They even take time to talk to the members which makes it feel more like a family. The facilities are always organized and clean. The personal trainers are great! I absolutely love this gym! It is always clean, with friendly members and very supportive, knowledgable staff. The functional fitness room is great and the virtual classes are a nice option as well to mix up the routine! It's nice to that it's open 24 hours as well to accommodate any schedule. Not your typical gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The people that come are into getting fit. The price is fair and you don't get that $10.00 a month mentality.
