I came here with the family for a birthday dinner celebration. We were sat at a table for six in a room that was closed off from the rest and had a coat hanger. It started with a nice touch but didn't continue that way. I asked for a cup of tea. I was told I will be charged $3 and said that was fine. The tea came. It was luke-warm dirty water (no sign of tea) in a chipped cup. Not a great start. I complained and got the same thing with a tea bag inside. Next we asked for water bottles. Don't bother to ask for that. They don't have them. They may have a can of seltzer but no bottles. They swore that they filter the water though. Next we moved to food. My daughter is very picky and vegetarian. When coming in, I asked the waiter if they would do a simple cucumber role for her. The waiter said they would. Well, when we ordered other things, we were told that they can't make it. They had a vegetarian role (that had cucumbers and other things she didn't want), but a simple cucumber role for a child was out of the question. Also the music was blasting like in a nightclub. It was very loud. We asked if it can be lowered a bit and eventually it was. Finally, something they agreed to accommodate (after saying 'no' first, of course). We also got steak and sushi. The food itself wasn't bad so I understand why reviews are generally good. They cook the steak for you. I asked for well done for a child and they undercooked it. I also asked to cut it small to avoid choking (again, child...). They cooked some of it rare, and took the cooking utensils away and scissors so I couldn't cook it myself or cut it. They do not give knives on the table. I can keep going on why the experience was bad but will stop here. Service was horrendous and they couldn't get basics - like warm water - right. Not recommended.

Not only was this such a vibey space, but the food we had was so tasty and everything else at surrounding tables looked SO good. I am seriously so excited to come back and get a big pot of whatever delicious dish was at the table next to us. We stopped in here after getting a big lunch elsewhere, but we were in the area and Anytime Kitchen made the list of Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey in 2025, so we had to stop in! We got a couple hand rolls and a Dubai chocolate martini. The hand roll was delicious. I wish I had room in my stomach for more of them! The Dubai chocolate martini? Just as delicious as it sounds. It was creamy and sweet and loved their version of a sugared rim. I seriously can't wait to return for another meal here.

We were checking out some spots in the area that made Yelp's list of the Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey in 2025. After hearing so many great things about Anytime Kitchen I was excited to go! Because we had already eaten at a few other places, the main purpose of my visit was to try the Dubai chocolate martini. The verdict? It was delicious. Smooth, creamy and the pistachio paste and toasted kataifi on the rim was chefs kiss. The vibes are really great here. They've decorated it beautifully and at lunch time on a Thursday it was crowded. I'm sure the eats are equally delicious and I'd be excited to come back and try some during a future visit.

LOVED our night out here! Solid food, solid variety of drinks. The vibe feels like you're in Korea at an upscale pocha/bar. Service is really friendly. We were one of the last customers there and had a great evening. Would definitely return.

An awe-inspiring ambiance. The warm wood used for the tables and chairs, along with the natural tones throughout the space, gives you a feeling of tranquility and comfort. They specialize in classic home-cooked food, but in an upscale setting. This is a wonderful place to meet up with friends or family, or simply to get away from the hustle and chaos of the world. They offer plenty of options, ranging from simple to extravagant appetizers, stews, and sushi. Here's what we ordered: -Ocean Delight - $27. While it was delicious, I'm not keen on ordering it again. The odd presentation--served in a tin can--was off-putting for me. It's about the size of my palm, and tbh, my hand is about the size of my friend's 14-year-old daughter's. 4/5 stars. -Grilled BBQ Bossam - $39. Excellent. Very uniformly cut and lean. 5/5 stars. -Various Temakis - $21 if you get the Temaki set. My favorites included Dynamite, Bluefin Spicy Tuna, and Eel Avocado. 4/5 stars. For the most part, I found the food to be very good, but for some items, it's overpriced for what you're getting. The service is hit or miss, which is surprising since they seemingly try to give off a bourgeois experience. The banchan selection is limited, and I once had their spicy pork belly bibimbap in a hot stone pot. It is very spicy!! I needed more of their macaroni salad since the mayonnaise helps assuage the heat. The waitress said, "They don't replenish banchan." I guess she felt bad because I was practically in tears as I was choking from the spiciness, and she eventually brought me some. Yet other times, when I was here, the service was excellent. Again, it's the inconsistency of the service that has me perplexed. Overall, if I'm in the area, I would come back for the ambiance and the standout dishes. I just know not to order anything too spicy.

Ideal spot for drinks and dishes to accompany - there's a lot of options, ranging from soup/stews, fried chicken and bunsik-food, to sushi and sashimi! Some of the dishes are fairly small, ideal for sharing and trying new things, so keep that in mind.

The atmosphere is modern and chic, which was a lovely backdrop for our special occasion. Note when booking: there is a $5 per-person charge for no-shows when booking through Resy. We started with the soft-shell crab appetizer ($18), which was lightly breaded, deep-fried, and not at all greasy--a perfect portion for two. For our main courses, we had the short rib ($44), which was expertly cooked tableside by our waiter. It was tender, perfectly presented, and cooked exactly to our liking (medium-rare). We also ordered the sashimi dinner ($70), which featured 21 pieces of very fresh, high-quality fish in an adequate portion. The final dish was the corn chicken ($20), which consisted of breaded chicken pieces topped with corn and heavy mozzarella cheese. While it was a popular dish, it felt more like pub food than something for an anniversary dinner. While the food was excellent, the service experience left a sour taste. The restaurant did not offer any special acknowledgment for our anniversary. However, the most disappointing part of the evening came when we politely asked to take our unfinished bottle of wine home. Our waiter, informed us this was "illegal." He brought over the manager, who repeated the same policy, offering to hold the wine for us for 15 days instead. I was surprised, as I've been to many restaurants in New Jersey that are happy to seal an unfinished bottle in a "Wine Doggie Bag" as per state law (see picture). Even after showing them the official NJ government policy on my phone, they simply shrugged it off. I was forced to finish the wine grudgingly. I hope management sees this review and rectifies this policy with their staff to prevent future misunderstandings. Overall 3.5 stars The food was good and the initial service was okay, but the management's lack of understanding of state policy and the overall experience left a negative impression. I would consider returning if they follow the New Jersey rule to allow unfinished wine to be packed to go.

    Premium Chirashi Bowl

So the premium chirashi with uni & ikura is a photo from a year ago and the premium chirashi with the octopus is from today... The uni and ikura was subbed with octupus and a bigger ebi (shrimp). I miss the old chirashi variation better + the otoro (fatty tuna) this time had a little more strong muscle fiber parts, so it wasn't as soft and tender like before. Service: My food was accidentally delivered to the table next to me... I kept eyeballing the dish bc it looked like mine and everyone else my table got their foods except me so I had a gut feeling it was mine. It wasn't touched so I did take it but ya:( This place is still one of my fav places (bc of how fresh everything is & great portions) and this is the 1st time my overall impression was meh, so I'm still going to be coming a lot... but hoping that the consistency of the visits are steadier!

Nice ambience, very good staff, and tasty food. The dakgalbi was very tasty along with the fiery chicken and the shrimp dish

My fiancé (who is even more of a foodie than I am) suggested we try this Korean place and it was so good that we went again a week later. There is a shared paid lot in the back of the restaurant, so parking isn't an issue. This place does elevated Korean classics and Japanese sushi - a great combo if you ask me. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it! And you won't catch me saying that for many expensive Korean places (because I can usually make it at home). The quality and portion sizes were impressive. I'm obsessed with the yukhoe bibimbap and I don't even like bibimbap. The uni soba is also fantastic. A lot of dishes are definitely meant to be shared, so come hungry and bring your friends. The ambiance was beautiful. Very Japandi-esque which added to the experience!

Wanted to try something new in Fort Lee and this place was pretty well rated. Came in without a reservation on a Sunday for lunch and were seated right away. Parking is street, you can usually find something pretty easily. The staff were super friendly and the place is spacious, not cramped at all, so we felt very comfortable eating our lunch. We got the signature korean bbq and it was actually very amazing. Looks pretty, cost was very reasonable, and it was delicious. We also got a sweet and sour half chicken, the chicken itself was very well seasoned and fried, but it was actually a half chicken cut up in chunks. So you have the random bones in there, and I think I would have preferred a more processed boneless chicken or wings/drumsticks vs. a cut up half chicken with random bones inside. That being said, I think that's why the price of it was so cheap, so I'll take it. Overall had a really good experience and would definitely recommend to others!

Three of us visited for a late lunch on a Saturday. We arrived at the restaurant at 2:55 pm through the entrance from the parking lot and was told by the staff at the sushi area to go further into the restaurant. Another staff then told us to wait at the front entrance area and then called us BACK to the area where we were when she told us to wait at the front entrance area. Once seated (now 3 pm), we saw QR codes for the dinner menu, which we were disappointed about because there was a particular dish from the lunch menu (spicy octopus bibimbop in hot stone pot) that we wanted to eat. Before placing our order, I asked in Korean when the lunch menu ends (because one wants to know for future reference), but the male staff who came to take our order gruffly responded also in Korean, "It's dinner menu time now." Clearly, that wasn't my question, and when I asked again, he then answered that it was 3 pm, still in a brusque manner. (FWIW, I opine that we would have been still able to order from the lunch menu had the first staff who seated us not made us walk from one end to the restaurant to the other.) We ordered soy sauce marinated salmon over rice, fish roe rice in hot pot, and tonkatsu. The first two dishes came out first and tonkatsu came out much later. The marinated salmon over rice was okay -- halfway through eating, I felt the salmon was too salty and too greasy, and in the writing on this review, I realize it's because there was no wasabi for the dish. The fish roe rice in hot pot had interesting presentation considering that it was served over flames, and again with the writing of this review, I see that the English name of dish clearly states that there is supposed to be a piece of uni on the top. However, from my photo of the dish, clearly there is no such piece. (I did not realize this until now since I ordered in Korean, which has no such mention of uni.) This rice dish was also quite salty. Tonkatsu was pretty good with crispy french fries but did not come with any rice and definitely not worth $19 considering how small it was. (Because it arrived at the table much later, I was too preoccupied with eating and did not remember to take a photo.) Overall, serving sizes are quite small for the price and only filled our stomachs to 40-50 percent at maximum. Terrible service and overpriced mediocre food. We will not be returning to Anytime Kitchen in the future, even to try the spicy octopus bibimbop in hot stone pot.

    Uni "bibimbap"
    Mel T.

Came in on a Friday at around 3 for a very late lunch, after our first choice was closed. I've been to the Anytime Kitchen in Ktown. Assuming it's the same restaurant, I liked that one, so I figured this one would be good. But it turned out to be something different, and unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. Since it was snowing that day, we needed some soup so we got the lunch special, which was some sort of spicy intestine soup. It was a set, so it came with rice, kimchi, and mac salad. This was actually pretty good. For my main, I had the Assorted Sushi Combo B. It came with 14 sushi pieces, and a spicy tuna roll. It was all very basic. I've had better sushi at random sushi takeout places. Hubby had the uni bibimbap, which wasn't really bibimbap. It was just a giant pile of rice with some fish roe mixed in, and a few pieces of uni on top. We also ordered the temaki handrolls. You can pick three from 1-16 on the menu so we had the bluefin tuna, softshell crab, and salmon. These were much better than the sushi but at 3 for $19 for such tiny pieces, it wasn't worth it. Maybe we just didn't order the right things but the food we had was definitely a 2-star experience.

Ooooh, it's been awhile since my last review…read more After 4 years, I still love Wooga but those "$$$$" on the their Yelp page keeps me from eating here more often. This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

The USDA Prime Rib Finger and Pork Shoulder were both delicious, but I think what makes this Korean BBQ restaurant shine is their accompaniments. That was clear when the Egg Custard came and we devoured it immediately. So fluffy, very eggy, and extremely smooth. In other words, maybe the best version I have had along with Nubiani. The banchans and stews were wonderful too. I know they have a Midtown location, but I still have not been to that branch yet. I hope its quality and service matches this location. I'll check it out soon.

The Meat Bros is an AYCE Korean BBQ spot in Fort Lee & was not too shabby!…read moreIt is $40/pp (including children!) and I thought that for the price, it was very good. Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. AND, they offer sushi here which may seem tempting but I do not recommend. Not very good and looked like supermarket sushi. Just come for bbq meats. Parking: they have a parking lot in the back!

All of the meats were incredibly good! The pork combo also came with the fluffiest steamed egg and your choice of soup. They also gave banchan which was your typical kimchi, pickled radish, corn salad, as well as tteokbokki, pajeon, and raw marinated crab! Overall, we loved the food here. Service was amazing, our server was super attentive and helpful. He grilled all of the meats to perfection! Highly recommend coming here

That gave us enough time to have the place to ourselves and order literally everything they could think to serve us. This was easily one of the best KBBQ experiences I've had. The meat cuts were all perfectly marinated and grilled, from the Dry-Aged Pork Belly, to the tender Pork Jowl, to the juicy Marinated Pork Ribs. The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.
