This place is an absolute joke. They came out was at my house for 45 minutes on a Sunday morning granted I knew that calling out on the weekend would be a little bit more for the service call but these Jokers charge me $600 for a service call and all they did was put a one-by-one square patch on my roof and was up there for no more than 45 minutes total and charge me $600 freaking dollars. And I told them I had insurance the insurance will be taken care of it for some reason the insurance never paid it so they turn me over to a bill collection agency over this $600 finally my insurance paid and we had a settlement payment and then they overcharged me on the settlement payment. I am seriously considering taking into court especially for what some of the things that the man said to me on the phone accused me of insurance fraud because I offered a settlement instead of the full amount. B******* do not use this company they overcharged to the extreme read more

They worked with my insurance company as well and though in my case there was no issue with the insurance, they will battle for the customer if need be. Notice work performed in Florence, Ky. I am from Erlanger, Ky. Not CA. Recent Storm damage to the house and the garage. The estimate on the damage from the insurance company was less then, possible to repair both roofs. Note the insurance co brought there own crew who wanted to butcher the repairs, it would of been brutally patched. Before the damage we viewed Angie's list and found Anyweather for gutters. While Alfonzo was on site for the gutters we discovered a tree fell on the garage. Because of the tree damage we viewed the property . I am so glad he was here. He evaluated the damages and made sure all damaged pieces where replaced properly not patched. Alfonzo talked to the insurance co and made them give us the correct estimates. Griffin Contracting d/b/a AnyWeather Roofing is the Worse Experience Ever. On October 10, 2018, our home was damaged by hurricane Michael. On November 25, 2018, I signed a build contract with AnyWeather Roofing to repair my roof. The representative, JB, told me AnyWeather had its own adjustor, CB, who worked directly with insurance to work out the contract details and final prices before work started. I would not have to pay anything out of pocket or have to get supplements approved. On the build contract, JB wrote the terms as "Insurance procedes(sic) and supplements." On January 22, 2019, K-Pax Construction repaired the roof. There was some problem d/b/a AnyWeather Roofing and the logos were stripped off the trucks, but as I understood it, K-Pax Construction was d/b/a as AnyWeather so it was still the same company. There were two representatives from K-Pax supervising the roofing repairs, G_ and JB. G_ was up on the roof as the workers began removing the remaining old shingles from the roof. They had barely started ripping the shingles off when G_ came down off the roof to talk to my wife and me. G_ told us that the wooden decking currently on our roof was 3/8-inch, and due to FL building codes he had to replace it with a minimum of 1/2-inch. I mentioned to him that CB and my USAA adjuster, CA, had already disagreed several times over the FL building codes. G_ told my wife and me replacing the deck was already part of the agreement and required by FL code. He said all he needed was plenty of pictures so CB would have the proper documentation to send to USAA. On Feb 22, 2019, CB sent an email to USAA with a revised estimate for the roof. CB stated, "the original decking is 3/8" and will no longer meet the Florida Building Code." ... "building code requires 1/2" CDX, so that is what we have installed over the full roof after removing the old 3/8" decking." On March 12, 2019, I sent JH a copy of an email USAA had sent to CB, asking AnyWeather for an update on supplying the "FBC for Existing Buildings showing the requirement for thedecking." This was an email CA, my USAA adjuster, had sent CB at AnyWeather. The USAA system automatically CCs emails to the policy holder. On March 19, 2019, I received a check from my mortgage company payable to Griffin Contracting. My mortgage company stated Griffin was the parent company of AnyWeather and K-Pax as per federal tax documents. I called JH to let her know I would be mailing the check immediately. Also that day, I received an updated invoice from K-Pax Construction (from bself**@gmail.com) adding $6760.00 for the wood decking replacement/repair. On March 20, 2019, CA, my USAA adjustor, sent an email to JH at AnyWeather stating she had been in contact with the K-Pax representative (CB) about the necessary documentation for the building code AnyWeather claimed justified replacing the roof decking. She explained the only documentation USAA had received was for "new construction" and she needed FBC for "Existing Building." On March 22, 2019, CA again emailed AnyWeather. She explained that she had discussed the claim with her supervisor, DG (the FL Claims Manager). Since there was a disagreement on what code should be applied to my house (new construction vs. existing construction), USAA offered the option of having an engineer inspect and advise a resolution. She asked AnyWeather to advise how they would like to proceed. On March 25, 2019, I received an email from JH stating AnyWeather was working with my insurance company "to get all the proper paperwork in order for payment for the decking replacement." On August 1, 2019, (four months later) I received a certified letter from K-Pax stating my account was overdue in the amount of $6760.00 (the cost of the decking) and threatening late fees, legal action, etc. On August 2, 2019, CA emailed JH. She restated her numerous effects to settle the code problem, K-Pax responded stating, "We have a signed contract from the homeowner stating that they would be responsible for paying for replacement of all decking." I never did. On August 15, 2019, CA emailed JH at K-Pax and advised her that the building code JH emailed to USAA was the same building code CB had previously provided in March. Since K-Pax had failed to produce any documentation supporting the decking replacement was required it was unnecessary. The stipulation on the build contract states , "Wood decking will be inspected and replaced as necessary," but AnyWeather claims it was necessary by a building code it cannot produce therefore USAA finds it unnecessary and will not pay for it. Now AnyWeather wants me to pay for something I never asked for and the insurance company believes is unwarranted work when the contract terms are insurance and supplements. All I can do is file a complaint with the BBB, while telling my story and hope others learn from my experience. I recommend ANY other company read more

Has terrible customer service. They installed gutter guards on our house. As soon as it rained we noted that one gutter had never been cleaned out and was clogged and had issues on the other side with the way water was draining. We called the office, they said Cody would call us back. A week later I called again. Cody called and said he would be there in the next 3 days and argued with me about the clogged gutter. He never showed up. I called the office again finally Cody comes out and the gutter was clogged. It had completely washed out all of our mulch and dirt in that corner of the house. Cody offered that I could follow him to Home Depot to get mulch. He did some repair on the other side of the roof. First rain, it still wasn't fixed. I called again and was told Cody would call me...again no call back. Another call and I finally was sent to the general manager of the company that promised to get it fixed. Very frustrating that it takes 6 weeks to get a job fixed. As an aside they also left cigarette butts on my porch and around the house after the work which is incredibly rude and disrespectful! read more

They got on the roof, photographed the issue, came down to show and thoroughly explain to me, repaired the issue, photographed the repair and again explained thoroughly what repairs had been made. I was given a very professional and friendly quote. This great initial interaction was followed by terrible work, and then my concerns were dismissed. I paid 1/2 of the amount and was told it will be a while before the work could be done because of storm damage elsewhere. I agreed. Two months later a message was left that they will be there the next day. They were rude and dismissive when they arrived and tenant asked who they are. They were there less than two hours. They did clean the roof because it was thrown in the back yard. There is no way they properly put two coats on the roof because the manufacture's instructions require minimum 3 hour drying time between coats. There was also supposed to be an initial sealant according to the quote. Total price was $1600. Materials at retail price would have been $250-$300 and labor was 2 people for 2 hours. Foolishly, I trusted him and paid the balance to the office with the agreement Jesse would call me back. About a week later I got in touch with him via email and he said the work was done properly. I explained how I knew it was not done properly but he dismissed my concerns. He "assured" me it was done right. To top it off, while waiting for them to make an appointment to do the work the roof had not been leaking. Since the work was done, it leaks again. Description of work: Small flat roof was leaking and needed sealed. Quote was for cleaning, one sealant, and then two coats of Gaco roof coating. read more

We scheduled to have our gutters cleaned out and waited a week for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, no one came, and no one called to cancel or change the appointment. I called the company and asked what was going on. I was told that the serviceman that was scheduled for my house had decided to help out up north due to the storms last night. I was also told that the serviceman would call me right back. He did not. I called the company again and they told me that he would call me in 15 minutes. He did not. I called the company a third time and after telling me they would look into the situation, they put me on hold and then hung up on me. I would NEVER use this company. I would NEVER recommend this company. If a company commits to a customer, then they need to fulfill that commitment and not look for other jobs. read more
