Im really impressed with ANZ's customer service. They look after you but aren't over the top or pushy. For some reason I feel much more at ease with ANZ then I do with any other bank. read more

This has to be one of the friendliest banking outlets in Adelaide. Every time I go there I am…read moreimpressed by the service, whether it be at the everyday counter or the more specialised services counters. The last time I was in there one of the old ladies, who is obviously a regular, was showing the counter staff pictures of her grandchildren and they were genuinely interested and took the time to spend some time with her. I have also been offered cake on at least two occasions recently that I have been in here: Talk about good old fashioned service! The bank must really look after the staff here because they seem to really enjoy their job. It is also comforting to hear a Scottish accent in a bank because you know your money is being well looked after. I have also had occasion to go in and talk to specialist staff about accounts for my children and financial services when overseas and other such things. Each time the staff have gone above and beyond to help out and are really interested in hearing all about the travel plans. The staff seem to have first hand experience of travel ling and financial requirements and recommendations. In all the years I have been coming here I have never had a bad or average experience - Well done guys!

The friendly staff behind the counter are happy to help you and will often make conversation. This Commonwealth Bank also has ATMs located on the outside for convenience and its location is perfect. People working at banks are expectedly friendly. It comes with their jobs, and it seems apparent by…read moresome employees that they've simply rehearsed customer service guidelines over and over to come across as friendly, whether that be genuine or not. After all, they're being trusted with your money, and they can't exactly be assholes about that. But the thing I like about the Norwood Commonwealth Bank branch is that the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and not just because they felt it was their job to behave in that way. My debit card had seen better days and was starting to crack and split, so I needed to visit the bank to get a replacement. As soon as I walked in, the manager greeted me with pleasantries and asked how he could assist me. I told him that I was in need of a new card, and he ordered me a new one straight away and told me it would arrive at my house. Not only that, but he also sorted out some unnecessary fees I was incurring in my account. The thing that I really appreciated about the service I received was that during my time in the branch, he made me feel like I was a genuinely important customer (although one look at my account statement may have changed his mind). He was polite and smiling throughout the conversation, and made me feel like my money was in safe hands.

I work in hospitality, I understand all about customer service and the difficulty of remaining professional while dealing with annoying people. So I understand when people who work at banks perhaps lack that spark. They deal with people day in day out, and while it's part of their job, it does get tiring. However, these people must be on Redbull or something because they're always happy, always cheerful, always greeting people personally and always helping to the best of their ability. Outstanding service.

The staff that work there are a bit older, more middle aged women who sometimes take a little longer to do things in between their chats, but they are friendly nonetheless. Sometimes there is a fair line that doesn't move that quickly, mainly because there isn't much staff working, or they are in different areas serving longer inquiry customers. Also, their customer. Also may affect the time spent there, as they are of the older variety usually too. Savings and Loans are renowned for their car loans.

ANZ at Firle Plaza has great customer service and they run a great business. I first joined ANZ after getting constant high fees at another bank, and straight away I was impressed with the smiling faces and their service. They suited everything to me and explained all the details so even I could understand. This ANZ is never too busy. The new ticket machines can be confusing but they're definitely efficient, and you can sit down and wait to be called instead of waiting in line. Oh yes, luxury and service right here.

I always chose to go to the Norwood branch of NAB. It is quite old-school decorated with carpet and wood. It is also very small, but I like it like this. The people working here are very friendly and helpful too and may have contributed to me not disliking banks so much anymore.
