Theo was stuck 5 meters up an unsteady tree and clearly in distress. As background the RSPCA wouldn't consider helping until he had been stuck for at least 24 hours and fire brigade won't provide ladders without a formal request from RSPCA... so AKL came to the rescue. Andy took my emergency call and came straight to the site, he and Mason managed to reach Theo and bring him down safely. On top of that... they refused to take any payment for their time or help. I am beyond grateful that these two wonderful people are part of our community. The world needs more people like them. You have saved us a sleepless night and helped theo avoid injuring himself trying to get down. Thank you so much.
