Growing up, I had strict parents who wanted to keep me home and never taught me to drive. All the times I attempted to, I would just lock up and have so much anxiety and it caught on to me. I always took care of everyone growing up and this was the one thing I needed to accomplish for myself. I woke up one day and said enough is enough and having a 2 year old son who has soooo much energy and needs to go to park at least twice a day, that was my motivation. Long is an amazing instructor. He is attentive, asks about your goals and how you want to achieve them, great executor, and most of all a great communicator. I got the 10 hour package and I learned more than I would've learning on my own or with my husband. Every lesson breezed by and Long made me comfortable along with giving me constructive criticism without judgement. My favorite part of our lessons was the beautiful views he showed me which opened up my eyes and motivated to get my license and see what else is out there! He was also pointed out the top mistakes that people make, and how to avoid them. He helped us understand what the DMV evaluators are looking for, and what will trigger an instant fail. He was also knowledgeable about the typical test routes that they take, which helped us become familiar with the roads. Of course, he also did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to remember. Highly recommended! Note: we had previously taken three lessons (six hours) with another driving school, well known in the area. Long and LT Driving School were MUCH better!

The coursework is funny in a corny/cheesy way but Rocky is a super nice guy and you do end up learning a lot! The time goes by quickly and you are actually learning/remembering so much stuff! I told everyone to go here! CA is trying to incentivize people to go online/making it hard for traffic schools to run in person, but seriously if you want people to actually learn something, be engaged, and hear other stories of why people also were at traffic school, would think that's way more valuable/preventative. I've remembered so much about laws and traffic rules over the years because of this course.

Unlike the tedious, self-guided online courses, this class was interactive, engaging, and even enjoyable. Originally, I was skeptical sacrificing a Saturday but I learned a lot and I am not good at taking tests on my own at home. Rocky kept us involved with real-world examples, humor, and a teaching style that actually made the material stick. If you have to go through traffic school, this is the best way to do it--learning from an instructor who brings the subject to life, rather than just clicking through a screen for hours. He only did like 10 hours of lessons with Mr. Lee and i couldn't believe how much he improved. As a parent i was really worried about finding someone who could actually work with a teenager you know how they can be lol. But Mr. Lee was super patient with my son the whole time, never got frustrated or anything. My son actually liked going to his lessons which is saying a lot haha. He teaches you in a way that's really easy to understand and my son said he always felt comfortable and knew what to do. The tips and techniques he showed him really worked because he remembered them during the actual test! Honestly if you have a teenager who needs to learn how to drive just go with Mr. Lee. I have also recommended him to a few other folks and their kid's also had great experiences and passed their first time. That all said, I think there are some expectations to set. Assi communicates via texting. If your expectation is a fancy online school where you can book your hours via self-service, etc...this is not that. You text Assi, he replies, you figure out your lesson, he shows up and the work gets done. So...I think if your expectations are great lessons from an experienced instructor without the frills of websites and booking systems, then you found your driving company.

Decided to go by the Yelp reviews to choose an NRP class, and it's rated well for a good reason. Their office is in a business building with lots of parking. The classroom was clean and spacious. George is an amazing instructor with tons of experience. He reviewed NRP in a straight forward, detailed approach that made it more understandable. There was dedicated time to do hands on practice with a term infant mannequin and preterm mannequin. Also lots of hands on practice with intubation equipment (laryngoscope, tubing, stylet, etc) and administration of meds (epinephrine IV and volume expanders). I definitely would renew with them again! Btw If you don't see a class day or time that's available, give them a call!

Upon calling their office, i was greeted by the company owner who explained the teaching process and logistics clearly to me and in a patient manner. I then scheduled 3 x 2 hour sessions. The instructor, Roberto, texted a reminder the night before each session and promptly arrived on time at the agreed upon location for all 3 sessions. His kind demeanor during the sessions put my child at ease and he was very knowledgeable about all the traffic rules and test routes. My child then went on to pass the behind-the-wheel driving test a few weeks later.
