Horrible Experience - Deceptive Sales Tactics and No Customer Service I had an extremely negative experience with Apex Media Solutions. I initially signed up, believing I was getting one set of services, but during the welcome call, I quickly realized the actual offerings were entirely different. Less than 12 hours after signing up, I requested to cancel and get a full refund, but they refused, (despite that being the refund policy on their site) claiming services were already rendered. When I asked for proof of this through a report, the agent rudely refused. Not only was the agent condescending and dismissive of all my requests, but when I finally got a cancellation confirmation, it came from a completely different company name--suspicious and unprofessional. The agent even refused to send a proper email confirmation initially. This company operates on deceptive sales tactics and hires people with zero respect for their customers. I've never been spoken to so poorly by any customer service representative before. Avoid this company at all costs--they're a complete scam! read more

Was looking for help getting my Google listing higher in the search results. They sell you the voice search first. Before you know it, your soaked into hundreds of dollars a month. They are excellent snake oil sale people. I was blatantly lied to about linking multiple search engines over time because of some non-existent fcc rule. I started avoiding the monthly calls due to bully sales tactics. They pressure you to buy the next product because the previous crap you paid for won't work without spending the extra money. After 9 months and a couple grand. I spoke to the account manager and asked why they failed to drive any traffic to my number Nicole basically berated me and blamed me for not getting enough reviews from customers and said they didn't build the website so it's not their fault people don't want to do business with me. They got one payment out of my dad, I ended up having to have a meeting with them and felt something was off. Sure enough I look them up and nothing but bad reviews about them being scammers. My main red flag was that my dad originally paid for the voice service, I thought the meeting would only be about that but they kept trying to sell me a service for $1,000 upfront then $500/month. They claim to be able to grow your business through building your reviews on all the online services like Google Voice Search, Yelp, and that you'll be receiving all kinds of contacts. Not a one! I got suckerd in by them they made everything sound so great we are going to bring your company listings to the top so so customers looking for your work online will find you first, yeah right didn't happen. You can only have an online meeting at there available times which did not work for me. So anyway it's been almost a year since Apex started working on supposedly bringing my company up the rankings on the web. I haven't seen any progress. I called Apex to cancel the service and they refused. I kept asking nicely can you please just cancel and the woman kept going around my demands to cancel which was really frustrating. Then put me on hold and came back and said to have to pay another $598 like I'm in a contract or something. B.S Apex told me when starting that I could opt out anytime month to month type thing, when they lured me in. that was a complete lie. If I could give negative stars I would . This company is a scam . I finally sign up for marketing service . I asked several times if at anytime I could cancel .cost was $349.00 per month . They were supposed to make my business more noticeable on Google. After 4 months I saw no progress. So I emailed per contract. No response I called and left a message. A month later they contacted me . Told them I wanted to cancel. They Saud I needed to talk to someone else. A week after that I was contacted. I was told sure I could cancel but I'd have to pay for the full 12 months, which is Not stated in the contract . I reached out to my lawyer. The contract is bogus I do not owe for 12 months. This company tries to bully its clients . If they call you to sign with them .do yourself a favor .hang up and block their number. Apex media is one of those marketing companies that ring you up at least once a month and try to bully you into signing up to a program that they say can get you on the first page of Google. I am not saying that they cant, but recently i received yet ANOTHER call from them, and when i declined their offer to join AGAIN (7th time), the employee said that we obviously wasn't on the same page and i couldn't have listened to what he was saying, or i would have snapped at the offer for more business and to be on the first page of google. I replied that i had heard him ok, but i wasn't interested as i have enough work already and i wouldn't be able to cope with any more work at this present time. At which point he said i was another F-ing clueless idiot. and slammed the phone down. Now i am sure they treat the customers they do have very politely. but if you are not a customer yet then i would recommend putting the phone down as soon as they say that it is Apex media calling, or you may face a mouth full of abuse if you are not interested. read more
