We were connected with Apex through Children's hospital after our son had 8 hours of spinal surgery and a weeks inpatient stay. He was discharged the Friday of a long weekend, and when I called to let them know my husband was on his way, the person answering the phone said "well he better get here by five because we aren't staying a minute later". When my husband arrived, he was met in the parking lot with a commode. Given no directions on how to adjust it or what do do with it when it was no longer needed. My son used the commode as needed, and we of course cleaned it thoroughly each time. When he no longer needed it, because we were under the impression that we were renting it, my husband mistakenly went to return it and was again greeted with rude and completely unprofessional staff stating that this item could not be returned. Hopefully we will never need medical supplies again, but due to the disgusting and unprofessional way we were treated all around, we certainly will never be giving Apex our business again. read more
