Got the cheesesteak with Mac and cheese, a lemonade, and Melissa even gave a sample of their water ice- AMAZING. This tastes like it came straight out of Philly. My gf got the catfish and fries and again- so so good. Tried Apollo's Steaks for the first time yesterday, my wife and I each had the cheesesteak and fries. We had them take out, ordered and waited not long at all for our food. This is absolutely the best cheesesteak we've had in Newnan in a very long time. The hand cut fries are incredible, so different from any other restaurant's fries. We got samples of the Philly water ice as well and it's so good, way better than a sno cone! This restaurant is going to be a regular for us from now on. They're in need of some professional help in the kitchen and getting organized. Waited way too long for one sandwich and eventually left without food. Heard the unmistakable sound of spatula mixing up cheese steak on a grill only three times in 40 mins of waiting. While waiting, I watched a child working on the pot of collard greens as he pulled a large bone out wearing no gloves. I had high hopes for my visit and the menu looked good, but it just doesn't look like anyone knows what they're doing there. read more

This was our first time at Apollo's Steaks, and we almost didn't go in because the area parking lot was double and triple parked, but we decided that this was a good sign. Ordered two Philly Cheesesteaks. The wait time, even though we ordered mobile, was somewhat unpredictable, but the food was worth the wait. Very clean on the inside too. The fried fish is great too, fried to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. Didn't care much for the tartar sauce, but luckily it didn't need it. It was a very fishy flavor but I honestly feel like that was from the piece of fish itself and not necessarily their fault. read more
