There's no oils (unless you've selected that option) or unrobing so it's a quick starting point. My masseuse started working on the knots in my shoulder and all my tension started melting. It wasn't long before I was a relaxed heap on the massage table. She was very understanding and responsive when I mentioned the pressure on my neck at one point was too hard. Yes, you are in a shopping centre and there is the sounds of people passing by. To be honest, though, it all kind of blurs into white noise and with a little focus it's not a detractor from the massage. 24 hours on and my neck and shoulders feel looser than they have in a long time, and at $25 a pop it's something I can easily consider on a weekly basis! They don't currently have private health rebates on the spot but we were told that they will in a month or so.

I've been to other massage places within the mall where I have to remember the name of a good masseuse if I come across because I get different results each time with different people.However at Happy Foot, no matter who I get, I'm guaranteed of absolute relaxation and relieved knots. At Happy Foot, they use a spongy, faux leather bound face piece support so that your face doesn't just hang down against the face piece. The rooms are divided by regular walls but curtain doors. Any noise made in the other rooms or hallway can easily be heard, but they're good about keeping a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The space itself is like a Byron bay sanctuary, sleek and hip, comfy and welcoming. It's exactly the kind of place that you'd want to curl up and enjoy a book and a cuppa tea. There are treatment rooms for facials, an infrared sauna and three floating pods. I didn't have time for a sauna, but I will definitely go back because I've never tried an infrared one before. There is a private shower in each room, which is AWESOME. I had a lukewarm shower and then entered the pod, making sure to use the pillow that was provided. The pillow was really nice because I'm not an experienced floater and it helped give me that added assistance to really let go and relax my head, neck and shoulders. The pod itself was so spacious, I had no reason to be claustrophobic at all (what a relief)! Beautiful Chinese flute music played for the first ten minutes and then came on again in the last five minutes. I turned the lights off to get the "full experience." I was so neat, as if I were in suspended animation. Have you seen those space movies there the people are outside of the space craft and it's so dark and there is no sound whatsoever? It was like that, but in really neat way, a withdrawal of the sense on a whole new level. I'm so glad that they opened because Brisbane needed something like this! I think my new Sacred Sunday Ritual will be to take a yoga class upstairs at Inna Bliss and then head downstairs for a sauna and a float! I couldn't think of anything more delicious!
