They have a large selection of alcohol but every time I go in I get the dirtiest looks from the staff. I'm 23 years old and understand I look young but even after they scan my ID they're still rude. This has been my experience every time I've gone into the store. read more

Hispanic friends had told me about the racism with which they have been treated in this store, how ugly today we verified it. My husband went with a friend to buy 12 beers and he asked them for ID. Convenient market with limited groceries, deli (Boars Head meats and cheese), ready-to-eat sandwiches, salads, baked goods and other items. Nice selection of beer, wine and liquor. Other services include propane tank exchange (Rhino brand) and lottery tickets. My experience with the staff is they have been friendly, helpful, and quick. read more

First if I could give less stars I would. Was returning empties and their machine wouldn't take a variety of seltzer from a variety pack they sell. The kid at the register said there was nothing he could do for me.i ask to speak to a mgr and the woman in charge said they can't take returns at the register and I would have to come back to speak to a mgr Monday-Friday 8-5. I informed her that I am one of the lucky ones still working and that wouldn't work for me. This woman has the personality of a mop. She has rung me out at the register in the past and the self checkout machines at Hannafords are more friendly than she is. Guess it's time to make my purchases elsewhere. read more

Very unfriendly staff. Rude even. Be prepared to be carded for EVERYTHING, even a lighter. Craft beer selection is decent but WAYYYY overpriced. If an underage person walks in at the same time as you be prepared to be denied when trying to buy a six pack of O'douls. It's supposed to be a friendly neighborhood convenience store but it isn't. One time I bought saran wrapped sandwich and the frumpy woman ringing me up started absent-mindedly poking it like it was a mold in science class. I live within walking distance of this place and would rather drive to ANY other liquor store in Clinton than deal with the rude service at this place. I used to come in here every week or so and would be interrogated and treated like a criminal every time I purchased alcohol...I am 25 years old and do not appreciate this. I always have my ID ready to go and am happy to offer it as I know these employees have a job to do but the way I was treated here is unacceptable. I will NEVER shop here again. I cannot even express how RUDE everyone here is,I hate to group in the one or two cashiers who have been courteous to me but I am fed up! I live almost next door and have lived here for about a year now and hoped they would get to know me and change their attitude towards me but it has been nothing but hostility. I honestly have no idea what made these people so cynical but from a customer service person it is truly unacceptable. It's sad that I would rather drive people away from a local business but truly they are the most miserable people I have ever encountered!!!!!!! I understand this is a convenience store and you do pay a little extra for that however the mark ups here are ridiculous. This store only seams to be good for one thing and that's for people to play the lottery. I now refuse to go to this store. read more
