So today I went to the Apple Store Highpoint with my friend as his MacBook Pro had developed several faults and AppleCare had organised an appointment to verify the issues and for the store to organise the return and refund of the defective device. The first staff member who assisted us was very helpful and verified the issue and approved the return, We were then handed over to another staff member to carry out the return. For some unknown reason, they were unable to do the return on their system despite having the correct receipts and order numbers, they then advised us that we would have to come back on a weekday between 9-5 as they needed to get customer relations to do the return. The store advised me to try calling the Apple Online store whilst I was still there, upon calling the online store they advised this would have to be done by AppleCare. The advisor at AppleCare said we don't need to come back, and spoke to the store staff member and it was agreed that the store should create a repair to capture the MacBook which is a standard practice and customer relations would contact the store to facilitate the return. The staff member agreed with the advisor and then went to a manager to get the approval, the staff member then came back and said the manager refused. We then asked to speak to the manager directly, this was when we had the misfortune of meeting Rheannon. Rheannon then proceeds to loudly belittle my friend and me all while we still had the AppleCare advisor on the phone listening, saying "I'm store leadership and I don't want your laptop here" and then we asked why and she refused to answer, I then asked could we get that in writing for AppleCare, and she laughed and said "I don't need to give you anything" and walked off. We were left shocked, we continued the call with the AppleCare advisor who had heard the entire thing and they said they would sort this out on Monday and that we wouldn't have to deal with the store again as what she heard was disappointing and not the level of service that Apple should provide. read more

When I started my forty minute drive here I had a hunch that I was going to be facing some issue getting my problems solved. Nevertheless because this is the closest Apple Store I chose to drive here instead. Every time I've been here my issues have been unresolved and I have been left disappointed. Contrary to this apple store the one in chadstone will solve whatever problems you might have with your phone or any apple products you might have. Looks like this place is only for sales as there are tens of workers standing around who will happily point out to you that they lack any technical knowledge and they are only here to sell you stuff. The Genius Bar is booked for the next eternity depending on the colour of your skin. read more

Apple Highpoint - Apple stores all over the world are the same - awesome! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Maribyrnong, VIC

Word of advice/warning to anyone with an issue with your device, don't take it to this store. The staff aren't very knowledgable about the products that they sell outside of their scripts. Unlike other stores that sell electronics, you must book in for a "genius" to come to the same conclusion you already have. Other stores such as Dick Smith or Harvey Norman would have a look at it then and there to try and promptly rectify the issue. The main issue with the Highpoint store is that the staff are only keen on selling product instead of dealing with product issues so their focus is elsewhere and that the management are also focusing on sales instead of existing customers. I dealt with Chris Rich that day and he was very blunt, arrogant and condescending. So to summarise, staff don't know enough about their products, management believe that it is acceptable that customers have a non functioning device for multiple days before their technicians can have a look which could mean further downtime. read more

Bought a new MacBook Air in March 2015 from the Apple store in Highpoint Maribyrnong. In October 2015 the computer would no longer connect to my home wireless. After trying various solutions, took it back to the store for them to have a look. They couldn't have a look at it on the spot and made an appointment for 4 days later. Went back, they had a look at it and decided it needed a full restore. Sent me back again to back up the computer as they couldn't do it. Found out I needed a special Apple backup drive which of course they were prepared to sell to at an exhorbitant price. Instead I took the computer back again and copied the main files on a USB. Took it back to the Apple store for the 3rd time and they did a full restore. Took the computer home and it still wouln't connect to my home wireless. Went to the store again for the 4th time and this time it worked. Upon arriving home the apps such as pages, numbers etc were no longer there. Took it back to the store for the 5th time and they said they couldn't restore it. Sent me a link to some Apple support which is useless. On top of that they are offering PAID support!!! for a computer that's still under warranty. Service has been pathetic to say the least. My next step is to appeal to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for them to honour the guarantee and fix the computer. read more

Drove an hour to get there, told that it was a manufacturing defect on my MacBook and to come back when the part is in. Once I finally had it in for repair I was told it would be 3-5 days. On the 6th day I hadn't hear anything, and the staff were getting frustrated at me asking. Then found out it hadn't even began being worked on. I watch 5 staff standing around talking to each other unable to help with a technical issue because they do not understand the technical side of the phones they're selling. Maybe, as a thought, whilst they're standing around chatting about who has the greenest tshirt they could maybe do some research, maybe a widdle bit of study on the product they're selling in the hope that maybe, just maybe, before their 30th mid life crisis that they have advanced their knowledge of the immensely complex product they're selling to a point where they could possibly be informed enough to fix it. I know, I know, once you've got an Apple they couldn't care less as they are the preschool meth dealer of the electronics world but I'd love to go to the mountain top one day and be treated as equals to those who haven't yet tasted the delight. read more

Apple Store in Highpoint Shopping Centre, Victoria - Very disappointing experience with it comes to technical support. This store is only good at taking your money. We purchased almost $5000 worth of products. We didn't have time for someone to show us how to set up our mac and iphones as they were about to close, so we went back few days later. As soon as we walked in they gave us the run around by passing us to one person to another. We just walked out coz no one can be bother helping us out, mind you it wasn't even busy at the time. Apple should not be hiring someone who does not know their products, cos whenever someone comes up to us if we needed help and we told him we need someone to help us set our iphones they would point us to another person who will then tell us to just log in to their website. I ended up calling Apple Technical support instead as soon as I got home. They were fantastic, very patient and got through with me step by step. Unlike the Apple Store Highpoint, I really thought it would have been better person to person assistance but we were wrong. The staff looks like they can't be bother and just want to get rid of you when they know you are only there to ask questions. Note to self, if we have to go back there we will go straight to the manager and we might get a better service. Fortunately I have given this feedback to Apple over the phone when they were helping us out. To the people out there whose had similar experience we've had in their store please call Apple itself and they are most wonderful people to talk to and very helpful as suppose to the people in the actual Highpoint Store. Also note to Apple Highpoint Store staff, wear a name badge so at least we know your names coz every time we would asked your name you would just brush us off then direct us to another staff. read more
