Apple Store flagship is quite spacious but looks better from the outside (from the street) than from the inside. But the "disappointment" comes from the human touch (not from those tables displaying a wide range of very desirable products). Plenty of hosts wearing special T-shirts are strolling near the entrance to "help" and "guide" you inside the store but apparently there are much less product specialists. There wasn't so many people in the store but it was strangely difficult to have a product specialist available to discuss specs without a (relative) long wait. Luckily the specialist who came up was good: clear, concise and honest. He managed the sales end-to-end very swiftly. I wish there were more like him and less from those "regular" clerks. Please, have them trained and converted for a more balanced customer service that meets Apple's customers (usually high) expectations. read more

Finally an apple store !! As usual you feel home the apple store. BUT... very disappointing... Not everybody speaks french and dutch. The person who welcoming us could not speak french and ask if I spoke english... Very sad that I can not speak my own language in my own country... This was not the first issue. Secondly they gave me wrong information on how about using hardware (that I just bought). Kinda weird when you come home and it works completely different. Horrible service, they refuse to let you speak to any senior staff. I asked for my phone, although slightly out of warranty to be fixed as it came with a factory flaw that only started acting up recently, to simply fix it or supply me with a discounted phone as they sold me a faulty product under pretenses of full functionality. When told to the staff they blamed it on me, and said they couldnt fix it. I compromised on a new phone that was hardly discounted of the same model, and the phone had a warranty of 3months after 4 months the battery life sucks and cant use it without a charger on me at all times. An Apple Store based on their latest "template". A very big screen at the far end of the store showing product promos, lots of places to sit, decent free WiFi, very well thought out shelves for the accessories (iPhone, iPad, etc.), friendly & approachable employees (albeit not always technically up to par with their friendliness) and also people. Lots of people. I'd almost say too many. There are no cashiers, every employee has a portable device allowing you to pay very quickly & my experience with the Genius "bar" was very positive (results may vary though). read more

I usually love apple products and services, I was on a traveling trip in Belgium and my iPhone stoped charging. Called tech support had it troubleshoot without any success. Finally I got an appointment to take it to the store and once I arrive there they refuse to service the phone because it was refurbished. I told them I had no idea the equipment was refurbished it was given to me by my insurance company in the US , but he funny part is that the insurance told me that apple approves sending refurbished equipment to their customers. So it doesn't make sense they cannot service you. I lost business and communication for almost 2 months. Once I was back in The US they reinstalled the software and the issue was fixed in 10 minutes. Another great example of lack and interest to research inside your own company to satisfy customer needs. Customers should be more cautious before buying in such a frenetic way apple products. read more

Do NOT go near this store on a Saturday. I was with a friend who was ready to move from the iPhone 4s to the iPhone 6s. But she was also thinking about instead buying an iPad Mini and then just getting a basic Android phone. So she was ready to buy (credit card ready to go!), but needed advice & it was Apple's moment to make their sales pitch. Sadly, we could not find anyone who could help us. There were all these people in Apple T-shirts wandering around, but none of them was a "product specialist" (or whatever they call them) who could help us. And all the experts were busy, with other customers lined up to see them. We got disgusted and left. I have never seen this in an Apple store in the USA. Something is wrong in this store. read more

It is painless to buy products (bought MacBook and various accessories) but very painful to try and get someone to answer a question. I went in one Monday lunchtime and wanted to ask a question about a problem synchronising my iPad with Apple Music. It was busy and it looked really chaotic. It is in reality even more chaotic. No system at all to look after customers. I was asked to wait by a guy with at shirt. I waited for 20 minutes and it was clear he and his colleague forgot about me as they left their previous positions When I asked again I was told that I could wait but was given absolutely no assurance I could be seen within 10 minutes, one hour or five hours. He effectively shrugged his shoulders. It seemed that they had numerous hosts but hardly any product specialists. They need to train their hosts, if not to answer questions, then at least to take care of customers. read more
