My Bestie Austy and I checked in yesterday for a Happy Hour Treat and had a lovely time thanks to the wonderful Team Service of the Applebees Staff! Austy was craving a Root Beer Float to satisfy his Manchild Palette cravings so I suggested we chillax at Applebees to unwind together on a chic comfy booth where I could also cool off with a fresh and fun Strawberry Sundae ;0) Karla was our Hostess and we loved her warm and friendly first point of contact vibes! Karla listened respectfully to my special request to sit with either Viviana or Leo's section and reassured us that a table will be available in a few minutes. Karla cleared us a lovely window table and gave us lots of clean and attractive Menus to see the latest Seasonal Specials to enjoy! Austy and I followed through with our original sweet tooth cravings and I ordered a Chicken Tortilla Soup too! Vivi was wonderful in taking our orders quickly and serving our drinks and dessert with quality presentation and high caring enthusiasm! My only gripe that's not even really a gripe but more of a "wtf happened" -- my loaded mashed potatoes was made with penne pasta??? The label even says loaded mash?? I've been to this location plenty times and The rumors are true about this place, no need for details. This month they had a "Re-grand opening" and not much has changed. Maybe a coat of paint, and well that's pretty much it. The restroom was horrible. No toilet paper in 2 of the stalls and no soap in one of the dispensers. Toilet paper crumbs everywhere. My main problem was asking for a Pricklycane Margarita and I was given an Emerald Escape. I even asked before I ordered if the name of the drink was correct for the picture I was choosing and she said yes. Well she brought me the wrong drinks. I even paid for the "vibe drop." The waitress had only been by twice our table so I had been halfway through my incorrect drink but it tasted good so no problem. When the waitress FINALLY stopped by I told her if this was the correct drink ordered and she was like "ohh no! You're right you wanted that drink" as she pointed to the photo. She then said.... And this is what bothered me "well you SHOULD have told me, it's almost gone.....but you got your vibe shot right at least?" And since I was w a group of my friends, I just let it slide. We went there about 6:00pm, not to busy. Seated after about 5 minutes of waiting. Anna our server was good and friendly, even smiled. We noticed while we were there NO one else was smiling and even a tall gentleman server was chewing gum, he wasn't smiling either. I guess no one wanted to work today! At first, we were hesitant to come to this restaurant because of its poor rating on Yelp, but since other restaurants were already closed, we decided to give it a try. The service was very good and friendly, although the wait time for food was quite long, and at times the servers were busy as they were attending to multiple tables at once. I become quite the chugger my hubby says but that's just because it so crisp and refreshing it makes my toes curl. Came here to celebrate my son's bday. It was the absolute worst service that I have ever experienced in a restaurant. First off, it took forever to get our drinks. We put in our food order, and it was taking forever. Our waitress came to to table and ask if she could do anything else for us as she was going to close out our bill,and we told her we never received our food. She was like "oh, let me see what happened ". Still waited awhile, and she said they were waiting for one more thing. We finally got our food, and it was cold. Conveniently located near the 15 FWY off Limonite Ave exit in the Target Shopping center with plenty of parking. I met my friend here for happy hour (3-6pm) for appetizers and drinks, everything tasted delicious. The restaurant is clean and organized. Service was efficient and welcoming. Shout out to our server Miguel who was extremely attentive, making sure we were good the entire time and didn't rush us at all. Pros: Good service Fast seating Affordable Idk why this place gets bad ratings. It's really good and you get full while your wallet stays full. I come here often for the 2 for 25$/30$. I recommend the Bourbon chicken and pastas. I also like the southwest chicken bowl. My kids love the mozzarella sticks and cheeseburger meals for 7$ All you can eat boneless chicken is also good for 13$. Came for dinner, the restaurant was pretty empty (everyone was probably at the new Olive Garden down the street lol...we went there first but the wait was an hour and a half) and we were seated promptly. We had the crispy cheese bites as an appetizer to share, they were tasty. They are basically like cheese curds but they were bits of mozzerella cheese instead of cheddar, it was served with a side of firecracker Mayo for dipping. Personally, it would have been better with ranch, the firecracker Mayo needed...FIRE or something, it just tasted like ketchup mixed with Mayo. After looking at the menu again, I realized we were supposed to get buttermilk ranch too!!! Grr...For my entree I opted for the Impossible cheeseburger. The burger consisted of an impossible patty, lettuce, 2 slivers of red onion, one slice of tomato, 3 pickles, and a piece of American cheese, all on a brioche bun, served with a side of French fries. The burger was great, my only complaint would be how thin the impossible patty was..the tomato slice was thicker than the burger patty! Also the burger didn't come with any mayonnaise or sauce but that's where the firecracker Mayo came in clutch and saved the day! My husband and I both ordered the same entree which was chicken and shrimp w/ sautéed onions and mash potatoes and spinach and artichoke dip for our side salad. The chips that comes with the artichoke dip was just ok. It's definitely not one that they make in their restaurants and you can tell it's store bought. Our entree was good. It was tasty and glad that the chicken was not dry. We ordered Pina Colada's to go with our meal and that really tasted good! Overall, our visit was ok. Just don't come to this place if you are hungry and ready to eat because the wait is long unless you come around 4-4:30 pm on a Friday night. Restaurant is family friendly, clean but I get a sense that they are short staffed. If you plan to sit in the bar area, you will find booths and tables with high chairs. Usually in most restaurants the bar area is a free for all. If you find a place to sit, you can just sit. Well, that is not the case for this Applebee's. All booth tables in the bar area require to be on a wait list. We found a seat and just sat at a booth and one of the ladies, the hostess, came to us (and wasn't friendly) and told us we couldn't sit there. I HAD TO ASK her then how we can and she said we had to be on a wait list. Gave us a bad vibe. Will I come back here? Hmmm... I'll have to think of on that one. Today I took my grandchildren to Applebee's in Eastville we were first sat at the bar table waited over 20 minutes. No one came to serve us the bartender who would've been the server, stood there for the first 15 minutes, talking to a coworker, then walked around the bar and started talking to a patron sitting there, looked at us and still ignored us. I finally decided to get up and let the hostess know that I didn't want to sit in the bar area to put me in the dining room and she did my granddaughters and I sat there. We actually had a surprise visit from my grandson from Oklahoma surprise us there so we were moved to a larger table. Party of three turned into a party six seem like we waited forever to get our drinks once again then once we receive our drinks, we placed our orders. All of my grandchildren got everything that they ordered and I sat there and never received my burger quesadilla the waitress never seemed to care. Finally talk to the hostess and told her my grandchildren were all done with their food and I have not yet gotten mine. The manager came over who barely spoke English and tried to pacify me by just taking it off my bill. I told her that's fine then she came back to my table and told me my burger is ready, and I told her to throw in the trash because at that point, my grandchildren were all fed, and I was too pissed to eat at that point! feel like I was discriminated against because I reported the the bartender for doing a lousy job and the manager was no better. I would really appreciate a district manager from Applebee's would contact me because my family and I we frequent there and I have never been so disappointed then I was today! When we got here we were greeted by LILY who was very friendly,welcoming and nice. She helped us get a booth in the bar area, where my daughter loves to sit, when the other hostesses were trying to seat us in the restaurant side after specifically asking for the ( we didn't mind a wait). I was at your restaurant on 11/30/25 around 8pm. The host would not seat us in the open tables. After 10 minutes of waiting he then decided to seat us at the same tables. While waiting to be seated we set at the bar waiting to order a drink. The bartender never came to our side of the bar. He only came after his friends set next to us. I believe he didn't want to serve us because we were black. I will not be eating there in the future. I will also inform my friends in mira Loma not to eat at that location. read more
