I have been to this location twice in probably the past 2 months and was fairly happy with both visits. The first time there me and my girlfriend shared the 2 for $20 deal, which was really worth it. They are a chain so you know what to expect with the food, but for that price it was pretty good. The second time the waitress was a bit spacey. She seemed to not really know what was going on with some of the stuff we ordered. She told us because of her miscomunication before she didn't charge us for the dessert. I have been going to Applebee's since I moved here about 8 years ago and it is one of my favorite restaurant until I placed an order to go last night and got to eat my food when I got home I was disappointed. I ordered for me and my wife, me ( sweet and savory grilled chicken ) which was suppose to come with quinoa and it came with rice only no quinoa was in the meal as it should have been. And my wife had ( loaded sirloin stake and chicken fajita) and her stake tasted expired and a texture was a bit strange. Other then the stake the rice and chicken was okay, what got me upset was the fact I paid for food that we didn't even get to enjoy and it wasn't like we could just tell someone and they would cook us a new meal so we just dealt with it. I hope that next time I order something it won't taste expired or strange. read more

Great service. Got 2 house margaritas and a tall Sam's summer ale. Bartender was great... however the food sucks. I got Thai peanut flavored wings. Ehh I have had better. Not enough sauce. I got the mushroom swiss buger. Medium rare. It came with one stem of a mushroom and overcooked. I asked for a new one the way I ordered it and if you are going to have a mushroom burger on the menu you would think there would be mushrooms on it. Applebee's is the only chain restaurant in this immediate area, so they must do a good amount of business. That being said, I am definitely not a fan. I'm fairly picky and they barely have anything on their menu that I will eat. They don't even have filet mignon on the menu, practically everyone has that. I found the staff and cleanliness factor adequate. But if you are going to pay to go out to eat I'm not sure why anyone would choose Applebee's. Definitely go elsewhere if you can. read more

Since this chain opened we've had not one good experience in this particular one. This last visit topped the cake. If you could top the one time our childs hot dog came out looking like a stick of beef jerkey, because it had been microwaved for ever. Seriously who would bring that to a table? Well our last visit started out ok, we ordered drinks and mine arrived quickly while my husbands beer sat at the window, we could see it, and four staff standing around it, and not bringing it over. I wanted to just walk over and get it, but held back from doing so! OK so a lesson in reading a drink ticket might be in that servers future! Drink finally arriver and We ordered 2 burgers w/ side salads and a chicken basket for our son. Pretty simple foods. Maybe I threw off the waitress by asking for NO mushrooms on my burger, but that was the one change to the whole order. Within 5 minutes our sons meal arrived, it was warm not hot, so i am guessing it was not intended to be his meal. No waitress follow up. 15 minutes pass and our burgers arrive. Mine has wrong cheese, aslide of something instead of the crumble blue cheese listed on menue and mushrooms and peppers (peppers weren't even listed on the menu). My husbands burger looked like it was slapped together also with wrong cheese, not onion straws (which were listed). so we waved down the waitress and let her know these burgers were wrong. She appoligized and returned to the kitchen, she then promptly returned and told us that they were fine! FINE??? They weren't what we ordered! I asked for to get the manager; she said she would handle it! I told her she already had a chance! the manager aarrived and i explained it all over again and he proceeded to tall me that they cant remove the mushrooms from the onion mushroom mix for the burger. So i asked thenwhy are there peppers in the mix, and he proceeded to tell me that they were listed on the menu. I told him to show me! He returned with the menu...amazing I KNEW THE MENU BETTER THAN THE MANAGER! No peppers listed! he then took our burgers back and made us new ones. The manager returned and asked us if we wanted another drink, we did. They arrived and my husbands beer was the wrong one. But the waitress failed to return until he was done with his now OK burger and 1/2 of the beer. She did however give is the check and return quickly to get our credit card! We were charged a $1.00 for the beer that was wrong, and as i was paying the bill i mentioned it and the waitress asked me what was she supposed to do about it! OMyGosh! In all i am so disappointed in this particular Applebees's! We've given it four chances over the same number of years and i have to say I think well stick with mom&pop places who care about their guests! read more

I have been going to Apple Bees for a long time. It's a great restaurant yet on Friday 2/15/2018 stopped in with the Kids and had the worst experience with the waitress she did not want to substitute onions for mushrooms said she get in trouble so I jus said I'll pay extra. Was not attentive at all. Heard her ask another table that she could see if they could substitute on their order. Informed us that we could not pay the bill if we did not use the touch pad. I had informed her that with the Flu and 67 that have died due to the Flu I wanted to avoid germs and wanted to pay her. She informed me she get in trouble and said that she would have to inform manager. I said ok call him she took 10 min had to find another waiter to contact manager and he did I paid the bill with him and all he said was I'll have a word with her which I think he did not. He informed that you can substitute what she said you can't my child requested a refill and she never delivered it and left it at the bar informed that to manager as well. This is no way how you treat customers especially with kids. read more

Ordered car side to go, showed up and waited 10 in the car side Togo parking space, then went inside and had to wait another 10 before any employee notice I was there because they were too busy hanging out and talking. Went here for the first time last night and I never want to go back. All the staff was rude to start off. When we walked in the restaurant, it was quite busy with a lot of people waiting, which is fine and normal for a Saturday night. However, the hostess just looked at us all confused and said "Hi" and kept doing what she was doing. As a hostess, it is your job to welcome the guests, ask how many, and if there is a wait to tell them. We waited there and had to go up to the hostess and let her know we wanted to be added to the wait list, and I had to ask how long the wait was. I understand this is a little thing, but it's the hostess' job, so she should be doing it correctly. I even watched another couple come in and stand there for several minutes without even being looked at, while the hostess just stood there doing nothing. The couple then finally asked if they could sit at the bar, which they did... Probably because they assumed they wouldn't get to be seated since no one greeted them! Once we got seated, I was ready for some better service. Our waitress was rude, but I don't even know if she meant to be. My fiancé ordered a drink, and instead of asking to see an ID like a normal person, she said "yeaaaaa I'm gonna need to see an ID." Like she thought he was trying to pull a fast one on her or something. All I wanted was a water. She comes back with an iced tea. I figured it was a mistake, so I put it near the edge of the table. When she came back she says to me "oh yea I know you ordered a water, but just try this it's fruit punch and iced tea, it's what I get you'll love it. You don't want water!" And she walked away! Granted, the drink she did bring was in fact delicious... But the point is is that she purposely refused to bring me water. That's all I wanted! I get she was probably trying to be nice... But she could have at least brought the water as well. At that point I didn't want to ask for water again because that would leave me with an awkward experience. Aside from the staff that worked there... The rest of the dinner was fine. The food was good. I gotta say I might not go back to this Applebee's unless I'm desperate. read more

I ordered the all you can eat tenders, and my girlfriend ordered an appetizer platter (chicken won ton tacos, brew pub pretzels and chips/salsa. I was pleased to find out that even though I ordered the tenders, I could also order ribs, too. The tenders were good. The ribs were ok, but there were too many little bones and not enough meat for my liking. My girlfriend liked her food, but her food didn't like her (I'll spare you the details). Also, our waitress wasn't very attentive. I had to walk over to her while she was at the server station (putting in an order for someone else) so I could ask her for a refill for my girlfriend's beverage. Then after our food arrived, I literally had to walk over to the bar to ask the bartender for a refill on my beverage (no "check in" to see how 'everything was'). Based on her "appearance", it was (painfully) obvious which demographic she was more interested in 'serving'. I might go back, but she definitely will not. read more

I'm so disgusted with what I saw when I went in to pickup me and my husband's takeout order!!!! We get a gift certificate every year for our anniversary and usually eat in. I have underlying health conditions and really was nervous to go inside because of the COVID-19 virus.So I went against my better judgment and went in anyway thinking they are taking all precautionary measures,wrong! As I stood there a while I noticed they seated 3 table's together not spaced apart at all! The waitress finally said are you eating in? Or pickup? I said pickup she rudely said go to the bar. So I did and the bartender had her very stretched out useless mask not covering her nose and I could see her mouth! She had a cold or something she kept sniffling and sniffling I was getting very upset and grossed out!! Then I gave her my gift card hit no tip ,she sniffled and said your all set I said no I still have money left on my card she said no the rest went to the tip, I said WHO I'm I TIPPING? She said me . I said for what your mask in hanging off you your sniffling, you really need to get a mask that fits you. She should have been reported! I got home my dinner looked like a pile of slop! Steak with mashed potatoes thrown on top that melted into soup wilted soggy green beans ! Yuck!! My husband ordered the whole rack of ribs which looked like half rack? He didn't get his French fries. Seated immediately, but all down hill from there. 10 minutes before we saw a waitress. Once we did, she took the whole order, which was good. Took another 10 minuts for our 2 ice teas and 1 soda to arrive. Soup and salad came but no silver to go with it. She was asked to bring silverware and forgot so we had to ask a 2nd time. By the time we did get it, the entrees arrived. Wrong burger served though waiter stated it was the triple bacon burger. We literally had to ask, "ok, where's the triple bacon". Refills were non existent as the waitress wasn't the least bit attentive. When we finally got her attention and asked it took forever to get them. At end of meal and discussed with the "manager" he was arrogant, uncaring and defensive. The one comment he did make (that I thought was extremely inappropriate and disrespectful to his waitress, regardless of how poor she does her job) was "She probably isn't going to be with us to much longer". No apology for poor service, no thank you for sharing your concerns. Nothing. I now know why I haven't eaten at an Applebees in years. I always tip 20 - 25% but in this case, I tipped nada!!! NO ONE seemed to even care. Update - 3/21 - Rcvd call from Frank the GM - Very courteous and genuine in concern for our experience. Offered to make it up with a free meal. This is appreciated but I declined as I am not looking for a free meal, just someone who cared. Frank did a great job making me feel like he appreciated my business and was concerned about my bad experience. He did such a good job, I will give them another chance. read more

This evening was an episode straight from "Bar Rescue". The "bartender" spent 6 minutes texting, (I was the only person at the bar). The manager ignored me until I waved both arms and asked him if Applebee's was pleased with said behavior, and being a protective type he states he will speak with her later. I asked her if she was in the service industry. Now she leaves for another six minutes (actually 5:54 since I timed it) because she is upset due to my remonstrance. End of the day, I won't go back, and they have just lost a customer who has spent 20 or more evenings there over the last year, with generous tips one might add. Utterly disappointed in the service and more so in the manager. I know it's hard to find good help, and have empathy with managers who try to make do with "kids" like the one behind the bar tonight. Both of them should be hunting for jobs tomorrow. read more

Let me start by saying the service was fantastic. Now to the food - very basic unflavorful food. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. It arrived with one piece of chicken, a few roasted potatoes, 6 shrimp which were the size of the little tiny shrimp in chinese food and were way overdone, and less than one whole mushroom cut up and sautéed. So basically this was chicken and potatoes for $12.99. Way overpriced!! It's a shame that they have to charge so much for so little food. read more

Ordered the Quesadilla burger for the first time. Asked to have a baked potato instead of fries. When got my meal it was served with fries and the waitress did not even say she was sorry about that. The real issue was that one bite of the burger tasted horrible and was so salty. When the baked potato finally came it was the skin was covered with salt. I could not eat that so asked for them to take it back. She said to pick out something else. Asked to speak with the manager who was Sandy. I expressed my concern and she acted like I was crazy about above issues. She also did not say she was sorry to hear this. Instead said that many people order it and no one else has complained. I asked her to check on the sodium amount and what was in the seasoning used. She checked and said it only said seasoning and salt. And that the sodium was 3,200 grams. OMG so high. Also on that burger the seasoning is mixed right into the meat so have to have it that way if ordered. Please beware of this if you have high blood pressure as I do. Beware of what you order, I will go to their main site and hopefully be able to see the sodium for all of their menu. read more

This is about service I experienced tonight, not the food. Watch our for those table display (as someone else on here called "presto service") thingees. I saw another couple, older than me, who seemed to enjoy their food. I could not miss their irritation and complaints a few minutes later when they had paid their bill. I heard the wife's voice get more irritated and the waitress saying there was nothing she could do (and the waitress repeated it). The woman emphasized she was very angry and asked for the manager. I watched (after it took so long that I thought they would leave out of increased irritation because of the wait) and the manager showed up. All I could here is her try to NOT do what they wanted (small refund? glitch with credit card? I wondered). Then I finally heard her say, "Oh, I can take X-amount off. That is so weird. That is so weird," which she proceeded to say about ten times. She didn't want to give them a receipt when they asked for one to prove a refund. When they walked by me, I asked if there was something I should watch on my receipt. They said yes, "don't ever use that machine...(she pointed to the unit)..it charged us extra money on the tip!) So I ate. I had a takeout item and kept waiting for my bill. It was freezing in there so I called to the waitress to bring me the bill She looked at me like I was crazy (light is so dim in there) and she said, "The bill is THERE" and she pointed to the mini swiper thing. I told her, "I don't pay with those things (because of the people who walked by and because I really hate them)." She replied, "YOU HAVE TO. My boss got really strict two weeks ago. That's how you have to pay." REALLY? I said, "No, I don't (I was paying by credit card). You can't do that. You don't have a sign and I know I can pay without using it." She went to get the manager, who had just had another issue with the previously irritated manager. The waitress came back and said, "Well, we can do it your way this ONE time." What? Are you kidding? I know a friend had told me about the units and her getting charged extra too (didn't play any of the games on their, no kids with her who could have when she was looking the other way, etc.) We are limited in this area when it comes to food. I mean, there are less than eight places to eat if you don't want pizza or Chinese. We all know Applebees is only a chain, etc. It has been okay to get an appetizer with a drink, but that's it. Oh, and never order a mixed drink here (maybe even wine...I never order it because of their portions being small and I suspect other things about it)...you will never be guaranteed alcohol in your drink unless you order beer...margaritas especially. So easy to disguise mixer stuff in a margarita for the taste of tequila. PS. Beer did not come until five minutes after my meal showed on the table too. read more

Walked into my local Applebees looking for a good wholesome night filled with dollar margaritas and my best friend's birthday; but upon entrance the staff was unwelcoming and told us it would be at least a 30 minute wait even though countless tables were open. They explained that the kitchen was extremely backed up, and look, we are reasonable people-we understand! But then, while we were sitting patiently, dreaming about sipping our dollar margaritas, the wait staff rudely began talking about us to the manager. Mind you, we were two feet away and could hear EVERYTHING. We told them we could change our plans and just get drinks since the kitchen was so backed up, and then they decided that if we were just getting drinks, we weren't worth seating. We tried to be easy going and accommodating yet we were rewarded with rudeness and pretty much denied service. We left the restaurant without food or drink feeling like Pam at chilis.
