Michelle has done our family photos a few times now. Our session with her is almost becoming a…read moretradition around Christmas time, which is usually the only time the three generations of the family manage to get together in Halifax. It's lovely to have photos of the kids with their eyes open and their signature moves and quirky expressions on display, while they are hugged by all their favourite people. As a bonus, the photo shoot also seems to make a good present for the grandparents! Michelle is both professional and fun. (I am only giving her 4 out of 5 stars so you don't think I am biased!) She's got all the equipment -the right lens, the right light, the right toys- so that we can be ourselves and not have to worry about posing in exactly the right way in exactly the right spot at exactly the right time. I often find that her photos capture something of the deeper emotional bonds between family members - which aren't supposed to be visible on the outside, but she somehow manages to capture them anyway.
