I purchased a dark and a milk chocolate salted caramel and a bag of butterscotch. The salted caramel was very good, the depth of flavor from the caramel is beautifully done, not just one note. The store was conveniently open at 10:00 a.m., on the dot, and the lady at the counter was kind, knowledgeable, and provided me with excellent service. There was a large selection of chocolates and other treats to choose from. I selected two items for my friend, and I also ended up getting something for myself. I was impressed that this shop refrigerated their mixed nuts! What a good way to prevent the nut oils from becoming rancid. I'm glad that they recognize members of Theatre Memphis. I highly recommend this shop, and plan on returning.

The ceiling is painted to look like clouds in the blue sky and there is Spider-Man hanging upside down. I noticed today that they had a cleaning lady there cleaning all of the containers. They offer ice cream, various chocolates, gummy candy, seasonal and gift items. I come here for the taffy! I'm not sure but I think the owner was there and was very helpful with my transaction. Since it is Memphis, Tennessee, they do have Elvis candy. The whole vibe and ambiance of Dinstuhl's Candies is pleasant. The staff only adds to that ambiance. I would definitely recommend a visit to Dinstuhl's Candies and I give it five stars overall.

This was due to past bad experiences with grocery store purchases of the same product (i.e., bruised/brown apple flesh). No such problem with Dinstuhl's, only fresh and unblemished fruit. Dinstuhl's products are like they're from another, better planet. Even their milk chocolate bars are a creamy and delicious dream of flavorfulness. My family is planning to return for additional caramel apples, as these masterpieces are only offered on a seasonal basis.

There was a lot of empty space in the shop, but there was plenty of different chocolates to choose from. Because of Easter, there were tons of chocolate bunnies/chocolates having to do with Easter, which we loved. We really liked how everything was displayed and organized. They had so many types of chocolates. From truffles to bars to covered almonds, they had it. We just wish there were more unique chocolates that we had never tasted. We got a few chocolate bunnies, English toffee, and an Elvis candy bar. Everything we got was good! Toffee was favorite. We also weren't too fond of the staff. No one helped us, and we were quite confused at first. We would have thought there would have been premade Easter baskets too, but that wasn't the case.
