Shock has fixed the microwave handle- which ended up needing the whole door replaced- due to poor design. First visit resulted in incorrect diagnosis and incorrect part being replaced. Subsequently the timer was found at fault. The second visit resulted in a parts only charge and a promise that if it didn't fix the problem, a full refund for parts would be made. Fortunately it worked out. My initial response for a four roller replacement cost was basically ignored to sway me into a bogus fee which is to be "deducted" from my final cost (be that what it may) My second response was to reiterate my initial request for a Samsung four roller dryer repair estimate which no other vendor id contacted had issue with, but this one. They're trying to rope me into their bogus initial fee, and then name any price they want as you're already on the hook, all under the phoney guise of this will require an attending technician to give me an estimate. Has your service never replaced dryer rollers before or is the scam in full play here? Why not request a photo of the dryer or ask me for the Model #? Customer service apparently isn't your thing is it? This will not be happening to me and this practice should be illegal. Prompt and Efficient I needed two repairs made. The spring on my dishwasher soap dispenser had popped off and needed to be reinstalled and the carousel motor for my convection microwave needed to be replaced. I sourced and purchased the replacement motor as I knew a repair company would be unlikely to have one based on the age of the appliance. The service technician arrived promptly after calling to give me his time of arrival and made the repairs. It was difficult to repair the microwave because it was built into a cabinet and had to be removed for the repair and then reinstalled after the repair. About a month ago the tenant at my rental property in San Clemente CA, informed me that my LG dishwasher stopped working. Tair showed up the next day on time and started working on figuring out the cause of the problem. He was able to diagnose the problem and order the part needed for me and schedule the installation of that part within a week. I like the fact that Fred kept updating me on the part's delivery status (it was the sprayer arm) and schedule the service on time. They truly made the tenant and me happy.
