Quick and professional service! Our bottom freezer wouldn't close all the way, leading to a lot of frost buildup. We contacted Appliance Rescue Rangers at night and they messaged me on Yelp pretty quickly, even though it was after hours. We scheduled a visit the next morning. The consultation cost $50, but that was absorbed in the cost of the repair. We asked to wear booties, which they did. Quick diagnosis and quick repair. Very reasonably priced. I had a great experience with Konstantin. He is being very responsible and honest. Here is the story: My stove broke, and after comparing options, I chose this service because it was reasonably priced. He came, worked carefully, and temporarily fixed the problem. Even though it looked fine, he kept testing and discovered a gas leak I didn't notice. He told me not to use the stove and came back the next day with the right tools. After more work, he found two broken parts--one no longer made--so the stove couldn't be fully repaired. He apologized and said I could pay the $50 visit fee if I wanted, but he would understand if I didn't. I really appreciated his honesty and responsibility. My experience with this company was nothing short of amazing. I absolutely had to write them a glowing review. TLDR version: helped an incompetent customer diagnose a simple problem over the phone with a few photos, avoided the time and cost of an appointment irl. Full version: Sunday afternoon, my Samsung washing machine is having issues. My kids have no clean clothes for school tomorrow. I'm calling around frantically, trying to find an appliance repair company that will help me. It's 3pm in the afternoon and I'm having zero luck trying to find an emergency repair company. Fortunately, I get in touch with Konstantin from Appliance Rescue Rangers. Gotta love that name, I loved that cartoon as a kid. He had availability Monday, but he could sense my panic, so he asked me to send him pictures of the error codes and the specific model number. He told me where I could find this information. He said he would look into and research the issue and try to get back to me as soon as possible if he had any hunches on what the issue could be. Meanwhile I'm still calling around other places, and still zero luck finding someone that can come Sunday afternoon/evening at last minute notice. I've given up hope for Sunday and accepted defeat, and scheduled an appointment with a company that could come first thing Monday morning... Then I get a call from Konstantin. He tells me the part is on backorder and will take some time. But, he wanted to ask me a series of questions, because he had a hunch. Sure enough, he was right! My machine's sensor was going off because of the weight of the load. It was actually a preventative measure that helped avoid damage. I reduced the size of the load and the machine worked flawlessly. All of this assistance with no expectation of anything in return. He saved me quite a bit of time and money, and most of all stress. I was able to get my kid's laundry done in time for them to have clean clothes for school! I sincerely hope others will see this review and come away with the same impression I did. I had a very expensive Viking fridge that would not stay cold. I had multiple vendors work on the fridge and nothing they did fixed it. I reached out to Appliance Rescue Ranger's and they came out and performed an assessment. I asked him for a quote to replace all the electronics, coils, and compressor. I was tired of dealing with the problem. The tech was pretty sure it was just the computer boards, but I was so fed up, I just wanted it working. They insisted that I not spend money unnecessarily and came out and replaced the computer boards that were about a quarter of the cost of the total project I asked quoted. Integrity like that is unusual nowadays. I highly recommended this company all day long! read more

I'm so glad to have found this place after speaking with a couple of appliance repair shops. I liked that Oxana was very direct and clear about pricing and diagnosis. She helped me to set up a date/time that accommodated my busy schedule. The technician showed up on time and was very thorough and explained the diagnosis and repair costs. Although, it ended up that my washing machine was defective and unable to be fixed, Oxana's customer service was stellar throughout the entire process and she even provided me all of the documentation I needed to submit a claim with my credit card for their extended warranty program to try and get reimbursement for my defective washing machine. The only appliance repair company that was willing to give a price estimate range based on detailed written description of what was malfunctioning. All others required a phone call or simply told me the cost to have a tech diagnose the issue. Pricing was much more reasonable that any of the other 7 places that gave me quotes. It was a pleasure working with Oxana who coordinate my service call and Dmitry the Technician. Communication was prompt and response time was excellent. I choose them for the repair of my oven because their service call fee was very reasonable, and it would go towards the repairs like most companies. Dmitry arrived on time keeping me posted of his ETA. He was very courteous and polite and got to work quickly figured out the problem got the part from the van and fixed the issue. He arrived at 10:34 and the job was completed by 11:09. I was thankful. In all honesty. l feel the cost of the repair plus time spent was rather high, but for such service it makes it worth while.
