I liked using the dispensers on Arizona ave. Because if I had any problems the office is right there, however only during the week not so good during the weekend and lately one calls for a problem, and you get an answering service with no responses for lost money or no water! PS; I have lost more than 2$ in the past two weekends reason for the less than average rating! read more

Tried to use their water dispenser on 8th Ave and Catalina. Deposited my 4 quarters, pushed the button to fill my bottle, but nothing happened. Tried the cubby hole filler, nothing happened. Tried to the coin return mechanism, nothing happened. Called the service number, left my name and number, guess what, nothing happened. No call back. Their machines are crap shoots. Seeley location service is horrible. Twice already machine has not dispensed water nor return my money. Very frustrating.

If you want to get ripped off of all of your money by all means go here. It will eat your quarters and then when you hit the change return button it will give you 2 nickels back. I REALLY need to find a new place to get my water. I imagine I've lost at least $10 since I started coming here. So therefore they owe 10 gallons of water. They also lack disability access for parking. They should have lower machines that allow access. Get your water somewhere else. read more

I have been using Aqua 2000 here in El Centro (run by Canyon State Water out of Yuma) ever since they opened a location at the old Walmart location (20 years?!?!). Was very pleased when they opened a location at 8th and Broadway since that's closer to my house. Unfortunately, things have been going downhill for Aqua 2000 over the last couple of years. In the last month or so, I have visited my favored location four times and each time something was wrong. Once, there was water just flowing out of the building (I called their 888 number to report). There have been times when only one side worked. Other times, both sides were inoperable. Today, I visited, put in two dollar bills expecting to receive $0.50 change. I received my five gallons of water, but no change. As others have noted, there is no use calling them because nothing happens. This hasn't always been the case. Years ago, I called about not getting change and they sent it to me via USPS. I have run into the gentleman tasked with maintaining the machine and I expressed my displeasure with losing money every once in a while. He blamed it on us customers not knowing how to insert coins into the machine properly causing it to jam. I will admit that the site receives it's fair share of vandalism and evidence of people trying to pry open the mechanism to try and get at the cash inside. I just feel that some updating and improving are way overdue. It is getting so bad that I question the quality of water that the machine dispenses. The location at Garcia Plaza (4th and Ross) isn't much better, and the ice dispenser there is so close to the water dispenser that people getting ice will park their car and block one side of the water dispenser. read more

The foothills locations for this company have gotten worse and worse in recent years, particularly the Yuma Foothills location (Fortuna). The water dispensing handles always leak. I end up losing approx 1/4 gallon of water on the ground every time I used them and that's if they even work. These machines are also known to eat quarters and not dispense water. No telling how many folks have given this company money for nothing in return. Someone finally got fed up and used a permanent marker to warn other patrons not to feed the machines anymore (I don't condone defacing public property but I dont blame whoever did it either).The staff will come to replenish the water supply and completely ignore equipment maintenance. I myself have informed them numerous times about money being eaten by their machines and each time I get the ol "okay we will send someone out to service it" (yeah right). The general area of the Fortuna location is usually nasty (to put it mildly). Garbage stacked up against the shed where ice is made...very unappealing. Dog feces can often times be found right underneath the area where water containers are to be placed. My final straw with this place occurred recently after I had the misfortune of witnessing a female exit a vehicle parked next one of the dispensers, drop trousers and literally cop a squat to urinate while a male she was with continued to pump water as if nothing was going on. UNACCEPTBLE AND UTTERLY DISGUSTING. My wife and I sometimes would send our kids to get water and I know for a fact that they would go to this area. Who the heck wants their kid around that crap?? This is the general state of that location. I realize that this is as much a problem with the people living in that area as it is with the blame of the company...so Ive simply elected to have my own RO system installed. Its a bit more expensive compared to the .50 cents for 5 gallons (more like 4 after you lose all the leaking water to the ground) that Aqua offers but the avoidance of hassle is so worth it and the market price for home systems have become much more affordable. If I could give this company less than 1 star, I certainly would. read more
