Everyone here, from front desk to the swimming instructors, are fantastic. Informative, patient, professional and friendly. They offer a free introductory session so that they can gauge what skill level your child is coming in at. Group sessions aren't overfilled and are well staffed. Additional staff also monitor the pools from the sides. Private sessions usually have a waitlist, but worth doing if your child needs additional sensory, ADHD or autism accommodations. Check-in is easy, the premises are clean, restrooms, showers and changing rooms are all well maintained, and as you walk in they have that lovely steamy chlorinated smell most of us know from the leisure centres of our childhoods. Great place to get swim classes for your kids. The ratios are small and the facility is very clean. Currently they are doing temp checks prior to classes. The pools are heated and water is very comfortable. The pools are also covered so it helps for rainy days. Staff is very friendly and my kids are learning so fast and they love their classes. They also reward their members by giving them referral bonuses which is a great perk. They also have free classes for babies that are 2-6 months old :-) honestly we really love this place and my 2 year old is already learning a lot of water basics that she didn't know 2 months ago. My only complaint is that the signage around the facility doesn't have their ratios updated which for some classes it's 1:4 instead of the stated 1:3. Not a huge deal but they should update the signage if the change was made at the beginning of the year. Bonus! Very frustrated, my son has been taking classes at this school and before thre was 1 or 2 other kids. now its always 4 kids including him, and each class he mostly waits around, other other kids need so much attention. They are closing all classes with 2 kids, so that all remaining classes are now full and slow and frustrating. One on one instruction is crazy expensive. Waste of time and money. We will not renew with this school. AVOID. read more

I love this place! My 3 year old loves going to his weekly lessons. It has an indoor heated pool so it doesn't matter the weather outside! It is for all ages and levels. It is led by an Olympian, and kids here they DO learn how to swim. The whole staff is always very nice and welcoming. We've started our girls at Aqua Swim and after 3 lessons, I can tell my girls are becoming more confident in themselves in the water. The instructors are so nice and they really work well with the kids. The heated pool during this time of year is the best. While I haven't had a chance to use the stationary bikes during my kid's lessons, it's a great add on. I myself am not completely comfortable in the water and considering taking classes myself. We recently moved to Jacksonville and were looking for swim classes for our five year old especially since we obviously now live by so much water. We are so incredibly happy we found and tried Aqua Swim...our five year old (now 6) continues to be eager to attend each class. I've been coming here for lessons over a month (one per week) and I can see myself getting very comfortable in the water and under the water. All the coaches have been amazing and helpful. Very friendly atmosphere. I'm 25 year old and for the first time in my life taking swimming lesson, I thought I would be embarrassed but there are also other adults that don't know how to swim so I'm glad I'm not alone in this journey. I'm excited to come to my lesson every week. And the class ratio is 3:1 with the duration of 30 mins. Definitely recommended!!! read more

We used to love Aqua Swim School but over the past 7 months there has been a decline in quality of lessons. They go through instructors faster than water *no pun intended* but since they are desperate for employees they are scraping the bottom of the barrel just to have someone to teach the class. We've been through 4 instructors in the last 6 months. Our Wednesday classes, which consists of only two 5 year old children, has become demoralizing and jaw clenching to watch. Every instructor has been less enthusiastic than the one before them. It's only for 30 minutes- if it's that painful to be around kids, maybe you shouldn't work for a children's swim school. We've spent a lot of time and money here for the past year and a half and are very sure in saying- we are going somewhere else! ‍ read more

We have taken our son here for 3 months. The staff is very friendly and the coaches seem great from the viewing area. I don't remember it taking so long to learn to swim myself, but each kid is different. I recommend here for the slower approach, which is probably better than getting thrown in a pool like our parents did. read more

We have tried one on one swim lessons at a different school and it was a nightmare for my one year old son. We took a break and then found AQUA Swim School, and oh man! Game changer!!! He is now two years old and his very first lesson with Ms. Rachel in the toddler/parent class my son was all smiles! This was a huge surprise for us because he used to scream and cry at the old school. AQUA Swim School uses songs, and gentle exercises and this made my son feel so much more comfortable. Ms. Rachel is so warm and friendly and gave my son a million high fives which made him feel like a super star. We have now been at AQUA for several months. My son's confidence and ability in the water has drastically improved. He loves pretending to be a swim teacher at our home pool and doing all the things he learned that week in class. Every week he looks forward to seeing Ms. Rachel. He talks about her all week and he is always so excited to show her what he's been practicing at home. In class, Ms. Rachel is so good at giving everyone attention and making the children feel special. She always knows how to make my son smile when he's feeling nervous. He has even warmed up to her so much that he has started letting her use him to show the rest of the kids what they're going to do next. We couldn't be happier with AQUA and we can't wait for our twins to arrive and be old enough for their infant program! I had given this place 5 star reviews until now. It has gone downhill. They have absolutely no customer loyalty or service skills. My 3 year old has been going there since she was 4 months old. I had always been in the water with her. Now she's on her own and going backwards in skill. I had supported her with one hand on her back for floating and now they fully support her. She's in their endless pool where there is little room to work on monkey crawls or climbing out. They hardly let her try to swim on her own and she does pretty well. She loves climbing out and jumping in and she doesn't get that opportunity. I expressed my concerns last Saturday and they said they would evaluate her. They did but then they didn't follow up to talk to me about it. So basically they blew off my concerns. We decided to leave this place and go to another swim school. I submitted a drop form through the website on Saturday. I never received any communication from them. So I contacted them again. They said they did not receive the request on Saturday so they are going by the request today and making me pay for another lesson. Then got a followup that they found the drop form yet I got no apology. So you don't trust your customers, you don't followup when they have a concern about their child, and you are rude. I will announce to everyone I know NOT to go here. You lost a loyal customer. read more
