Aquarena is currently undergoing some major renovations but it still has a lot to offer. There is plenty of onsite parking and easily accessible by public transport. You don't have to be a member to make use of the facilities, casual passes are also available. The indoor and outdoor pools will be put to good use come summer; there are instructor-led aerobic/swimming/weights/yoga classes that cater to the young and old; and the weights facility has been relocated close to Westfield Doncaster due to the ongoing renovations. For parents with young kids, you can still get in your workout as there is an on-site day care centre. If you enrol your kids in the swimming lessons there is a cafe to cater to your caffeine and nutritional needs. read more

Being a typical Asian who can't swim I have been attending adult swimming lessons at Aquarena and it has been an amazing experience. Kobe my swimming instructor has been wonderful. She is very patient and extremely helpful. My journey from being scared of water to being able to now do backstroke and a little bit of freestyle would not be possible without Kobe's help! Aquarena's pools are clean and very safe with life guards on duty at all times. The change room facilities are also very clean and well maintained and the showers are perfect after a hard swim lesson As they now call me the 'tranfish' I have a lot to live up to and look forward to many more lessons next term. If you can't swim then I highly recommend booking in adult swim classes ASAP! read more
For months I have searched far and wide for a gym that would satisfy my picky workout needs. Too small, too big, too many weightlifters, terrible opening hours, unfriendly staff.. The list goes on. Until I stumbled upon Aquarena's beautiful gym. A membership with Aquarena not only gets you access to the gym and AWESOME classes, but also grants you entry to their extensive pool facilities, sauna and spa. AND the best thing is, it's a month by month membership - so if you have a busy month or three, you can just pause your membership for those months. The trainers are super friendly, giving you two induction sessions when you begin and going through your goals to make sure they can help set you up for success. The gym is a judgement free zone and has awesome opening hours. The change rooms are clean and the complimentary lockers are handy and very easy to use. Finally, a gym that ticks all the boxes. If you're local, you'd be crazy going anywhere else. read more

Hi everyone, I am really disappointed with Aquarena administration and fee structure! I feel that I have been deceived and cheated on as a customer. My daughter has been doing swimming classes at Aquarena since 2 years and the classes were suspended in September 2015 I believe, because the pool was undergoing renovations. We received a letter that Aquarena will suspend classes for the period of renovation and suspend charges too. Being a busy single mum, working a 40 hour week in the finance sector, I only noticed yesterday that Aquarena has booked the monthly fee of $59 on 1st of Dec 2015 from my bank account. I was unpleasantly surprised and sent the pool an email describing that my daughter hasn't been attending any swimming classes since 2 semesters because the pool was undergoing a renovation. Instead my daughter has been doing swimming lessons at Bulleen Swim Centre. I was also shocked to discover after going through my transactions that the pool has been charging us the $59 monthly fee for the whole time the pool was in renovation and supposedly had suspended swimming lessons. I was furious to find this out and went directly Aquarena and confronted the staff about this today. They were very reserved and unwilling to understand my situation. I told them that I will take this matter all the way up to Consumer Affairs and the Aquarena staff appeared to be indifferent about this. Furthermore, I swear I will never ever send my daughter to do swimming lessons there because I think Aquarena is crooking its consumers! I will make sure that as many people as possible find out about this Disgrace and I urge all of you not to send your child there if you think that I have been treated unfairly and support my cause of fighting greedy Aquarena! Yours sincerely, Daniela Kraemer read more

Stay away! Staff are rude and don't respect basic faulty product warranties. Don't try to buy any gear from them. Waste of time and money
