So we got ourselves a dog today and we had to buy everything for it and we were told by the Tierheim to try this place as it's big. One thing is for sure, it's huge. Is there anything that is not available for pets these days ?? OMG ;-)) This place has a ton of stuff and I can't comment on prices as this is the only shop I have visited in Germany. To me the prices seemed reasonable. We needed everything and the volunteer from the Tierheim seemed to suggest that the prices were ok. The variety here is amazing. Everything you need for a dog or cat is here. We picked up a dog bed for €20 and that seemed extremely popular as loads of others were also buying beds. The overall experience was good. The staff were on hand to help if needed and the check out process was also ok. The only downside was that they did not accept anything but MasterCard, EC card or cash. Small problem but, I rarely use anything but Visa or Amex. When you are making a big purchase it is not always easy to carry cash around. But then it seems to be the case in Germany so maybe I just need to load up the next time ;-)) I will definitely come back here. I will also try other places and compare next time.

For discerning dog and cat owners this is a shop you have to check out. It's been open for about 8…read moremonths and is a medium size shop. Unlike chain pet stores this shop does not have a lot of stuff but what they have is of high quality and in some cases premium products for a premium price. If you think your pet deserves the best then you will not be disappointed. They have a range of beds, seats, harnesses and accessories for dogs and cats. They also have bath products from Miau & Woof a top end pet products company from Düsseldorf. They have a range of food products which are additive free and sourced from within Germany. Prices are not cheap here so be well prepared to pay a premium price for the products they have. In typical German style most of their food products are from Doctors ;-)) supposedly experts in pet nutrition and so on. I did end up buying some food items here and the shop owner was nice enough to give me some stuff to try as well. The dog groomer we used before has moved into this shop and hence, the reason for my visit. I will be back here again. It's a nice shop with some superior pet products.
