On the bill this is a charge for around $60 to do a strep throat test. Looked up a box of these on Google and they were $50 for a kit of them 25 tests. charged 150 dollars to test my kid for SARS covid and influenza. once again retail on amazon is around $24 office visit itself was charged at $277 when most urgent cares only run about $180 I have bills in from of me as i write this. As soon as we walked in we were asked what our insurance was and told they do not accept it, which is fine I understand that that's out of her control. However, we could have just paid walk in pricing at the time and we were not offered that, nor did she ask us what was wrong with my child. Really seemed like they just didn't want to add another patient to their book for the night since they were closing "soon." Really sad that medical professionals would behave that way. I have avoided coming here on a gut feeling for 5 years since moving to the area and my concerns were confirmed tonight. They suck. Go to the one by the old Kmart or the hospital instead.
