Sal and Mookie's! "I was visiting from Nashville, TN and had the "Meat Packing District " Stromboli. To say, I was disappointed, would be an understatement. The flavor of the sauce was tasty but laden with to much Basil. Needless to say the size of the Stromboli left a lot to be desired, considering the price$$. No hot Bread, Maraneria Sauce, Olive Oil/Basamic Vinger, was provided for our table of 15 before the main entree(s). Maybe that's what they consider true New York style Italian Food in Jackson, MS. But believe me that's not true New York style Italian food, maybe for someone that has never been to New York, and had really good Italian food for a lot less $$$$..... I would however likevto commend our server she was pleasant considering have to work under the handicap of "so so food"! read more
