If I could go back, I would get an espresso or cappuccino because I think it would have paired much better with the pastries. I also asked the server if he had any personal favorites he would recommend, and he brought us a Cuarto (sponge cake). This was not very good in my opinion. It was basically flavorless and very eggy. The Ensaimada was delicious! More oily than I expected, but still very good. I also loved the apricot Ice Cream! As to the service, when we were seated, our server was very dismissive and inattentive. We did not have silverware at our table. No problem. Figured it would be given to us once we got our order. Nope. After we got our food, our server ran away and never came back to us, so I never had the chance to ask for any silverware. Had to eat everything by hand. Thankfully the ice cream came with a spoon. The inside is not huge, and we were seated in a small table tucked away in the corner. Maybe that's why our server basically forgot about us. One tip is that when you're finished and ready to leave, you go to the counter to pay. The server will not come back and hand you your check (at least that's how it worked for us). I could tell there were a lot of locals and Spanish-speaking patrons, so if you're American or don't speak Spanish, don't expect them to be the most friendly. I dont take that too personally, just want to let other people coming here to know what to expect. Overall, I would come here again and recommend it to anyone coming to visit Mallorca.
