While visiting Charlotte, we stopped by Arbol Eatery and were honestly impressed! We tried four sandwiches -- El Italiano, El Cubano, and Chicken torta -- plus the Caprese, and each one had its vibe and flavor. The standout for us was definitely the Cuban -- a super creative take on a classic, with that perfect balance of "original with a twist." El Italiano was a close second, packed with flavor and just the right texture. The torta was solid too, just a little spicy for my like, but I never checked if it was, and the Caprese made for a fresh, lighter option, it was missing the fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Service was fair. Overall, the place has a chill vibe, the food came out quickly, and we'd come back to try more of the menu.

This uptown spot is definitely a gem. I dropped in with my bestie for her birthday lunch and we ordered a bunch of stuff and tried everything. The ladies behind the counter were really sweet and that's always appreciated!! Here's what we ordered and my thought on each: - Quesadilla: it was just okay, needed a smidge more flavor. - Chicken torta: ABSOLUTELY delicious. By far our fav item. I would come back again and again for this!!! - Tacos for Taco Tuesday: these weren't bad, the steak was just really tough. They had pretty good flavor otherwise. - Coquito latte: this was freakin' amazing, so tasty and flavorful. It was sweet but not overly sweet. I would definitely go back and recommend anyone to try them out! It's also so beautiful in side with soooo many plants all over the place. The other cool thing is some of the plants are for sale. The even sell plant pots. It's a really cool community-esque type space in the middle of Uptown. It's a great addition.

The food is so good! The hot chocolate was very rich and chocolate-y! The service was great! The room was filled with beautiful plants and pots, it was gorgeous! The English muffin was incredible! We live within walking distance of like five Starbucks', but this beats them all! Definitely Recommend! Xo, A+S

Chicken quesadilla.

Only downside was limited seating but plenty of different kinds of seating options (couches, tables, plush chairs). I had the basic chicken quesadilla and I wasn't expecting as much food as I got! It was LOADED with chicken! Tasted very good as well. I had to take the other half home with me. The service is order at counter kind of place. All that being said... I would definitely go back and eat there again!

Seems like a very underrated spot because we were the first and only people here at 10am on a Sunday. We had a lovely experience and would recommend. Arbol is inside the building next to the Grand Bohemian and the decor is beautiful! Very tropical, natural, botanical vibe and very kind staff. We shared the jalapeno pimento pressed sandwich, warmed donut, and caramel latte. The latte was so creamy and rich! Not too sweet at all, really enjoyed it. Sandwich was delicious and toppings didn't fall out which is much appreciated - pimento cheese was very good and bread was crusty and yummy. The donut was cakey and just the right amount of sweetness. When we asked for hot sauce, they said to just choose any hot sauce from their display market and pop it open. Service was fast and super nice! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

This was one of our favorite bunch/sandwich spots in Charlotte. The sandwiches and food here is honestly unmatched. It's located in an office building which makes me jealous of the ppl that work here lol

Namaste & Rose Arbol Eateey was newly opened in June 2022. It's a restaurant expresso bar that offers breakfast, smoothies, acai bowls etc. I went to this evenr on 8/27 & it was an extremely cute idea to have Yoga on an early Saturday morning followed by a 3-course Brunch catered by Arbol Eatery and picnic setup by QC Luxury Picnics. The food was absolutely delicious, I met some nice women & it was extremely refreshing. I do believe they will be having another event in 10/29, but stop by the restaurant for the amazing food in the interim.

The chicken torta was delicious!

Highly recommend Arbol Eatery. The chicken torta was delicious! I will definitely be back again soon.

Chicken Torta

Fast service, decent prices. Chicken Torta was good, definitely more of a "signature" sandwich, tasted great and came out looking good. The hibiscus drink was REALLY good. Chips come with the meal but they are limited to just original Lays and popcorn.

El cubano sandwich

Overall: great, would go again Vibe: chill cafe Food: the Cuban is as good as billed. Fresh ingredients, wonderful mixture of flavors. Pro tip: this place isn't easy to find but just get inside the building and wander around the lobby. It will come to your sight line before you get kicked out. Advanced tip: there is a book on one of the coffee tables that unveils an address to the best speakeasy in Charlotte. Good luck.

So I would like to introduce you to the arbol eatery. First and foremost the space is amazing, peaceful and calm. The staff is amazing and help, fast and accommodating. When I tell you the flavors of the food I received were top notch then you will have to try cause it was in my top there so far. Now the latte I ordered basically a treat!! They've only been open a month or so and I think you'll like it if you go and visit them. It's in the same building as Morton's. Did I mention the staff was amazing ... see you there cause I will be back soon.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!! What a beautiful, sacred, grounding space in the center of town. Edwin, the owner, is amazing, personable, and loves his community! Not to mention the food is fiyaaahhhhh - been eating his foods via his pop ups. Anna was very sweet as well - made great recommendations and welcome! The gorgeous space filled is carefully crafted with with plants (you can buy plants & pots!) & goodies for your home & LOVE. Look forward to escaping here when I'm in town. Highly recommend and already planning my next visit. Thank you Arbol!!

As a foodie transplant from the West Coast, walking into Reid's immediately reminded me of a…read morebeloved high-end grocer back home--something along the lines of Draeger's: beautifully curated, family-owned, and designed to feel like a destination rather than just a place to shop. There's a real sense of history here. From what I understand, Reid's is one of the oldest grocers in Charlotte, and that legacy shows in the details. The rich green tile, classic signage, and thoughtfully designed layout create an elevated, almost European-style market experience. It feels polished, intentional, and welcoming all at once. What stands out: * The store is beautifully merchandised and carefully curated with specialty and seasonal items you don't always find elsewhere. * The wine bar and café concept make this more than a grocery stop--it's a place to linger. I've enjoyed flights, tastings, and brunch on the patio, and each visit has felt like a small occasion. * Location-wise, it really depends on which store you're visiting. The SouthPark and Myers Park locations have easy, convenient parking, and there's also a newer location in Ballantyne (near Pineville). The Uptown locations, while not necessarily "easy parking," are incredibly walkable--perfect if you live, work, or have meetings nearby. If you're already Uptown, this is a fantastic stop to pick up elevated items for a beautiful dinner--think wine, specialty cheeses, or even something indulgent like caviar to round things out. One thing I appreciate is that Reid's doesn't try to be everything to everyone. It's not an organic-focused market like Whole Foods, and that's okay--it serves a different purpose. The clientele here tends to be people looking for specialty ingredients, elevated prepared foods, and a more curated shopping experience. Many shoppers probably visit both stores depending on their needs, and I find myself doing the same. When Reid's really shines: During the holidays and special seasons. Their selection of unique, festive, and hard-to-find items makes it a go-to for entertaining or finding something a little extra special. Overall, Reid's feels like a true Charlotte institution--elegant, distinctive, and consistently well executed. It's the kind of place that makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable again, and I'm looking forward to continuing to explore more of what they offer as I keep eating my way through Charlotte. Bottom line: A beautifully curated local market with history, charm, and a destination-worthy wine bar--perfect for specialty shopping, brunch, and seasonal finds.

I've been told that you also have the option to order off of Aria's menu which is great that they are so accommodating for their guests.
