It is a small and relaxing cafe that serves coffee, smoothies, and some delicious sandwiches including a very good quesadilla! It kind of has the vibe of a hotel lounge with comfortable couches and chairs for seating. Their menu isn't large or extensive but they do a great job with what they provide. I could see myself coming here regularly if it was located closer to my office. The amount of plants is a nice bonus as it adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The name Arbol Eatery really suits it. If you find yourself wandering Uptown and are in need of a quick bite or maybe just a place to lounge you should head to Carillion and find this place. read more

While visiting Charlotte, we stopped by Arbol Eatery and were honestly impressed! We tried four sandwiches -- El Italiano, El Cubano, and Chicken torta -- plus the Caprese, and each one had its vibe and flavor. The standout for us was definitely the Cuban -- a super creative take on a classic, with that perfect balance of "original with a twist." El Italiano was a close second, packed with flavor and just the right texture. The torta was solid too, just a little spicy for my like, but I never checked if it was, and the Caprese made for a fresh, lighter option, it was missing the fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. This uptown spot is definitely a gem. I dropped in with my bestie for her birthday lunch and we ordered a bunch of stuff and tried everything. The ladies behind the counter were really sweet and that's always appreciated!! Here's what we ordered and my thought on each: - Quesadilla: it was just okay, needed a smidge more flavor. - Chicken torta: ABSOLUTELY delicious. By far our fav item. I would come back again and again for this!!! - Tacos for Taco Tuesday: these weren't bad, the steak was just really tough. They had pretty good flavor otherwise. - Coquito latte: this was freakin' amazing, so tasty and flavorful. It was sweet but not overly sweet. I would definitely go back and recommend anyone to try them out! It's also so beautiful in side with soooo many plants all over the place. The other cool thing is some of the plants are for sale. I stopped in ARBOL recently for lunch and had the fantastic Caprese sandwich. Fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, definitely wishing I could easily grab another one today. The ambience was a big highlight. Very green and chic and thoughtfully designed. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have loved to stick around for a little bit. It's very instagrammable too. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was nice seeing them smile and having fun with each other while getting my order together too. The prices were reasonable considering how great my sandwich was. MY only hiccup was finding the place! Google maps kept taking me around to the other side of the building by the Grand Bohemian garden). I wish the folding sign had been on the corner instead of in front of the building. Definitely a good place to stop if you're passing through Charlotte on a long road trip like I was! read more

Seems like a very underrated spot because we were the first and only people here at 10am on a Sunday. We had a lovely experience and would recommend. Arbol is inside the building next to the Grand Bohemian and the decor is beautiful! Very tropical, natural, botanical vibe and very kind staff. We shared the jalapeno pimento pressed sandwich, warmed donut, and caramel latte. The latte was so creamy and rich! Not too sweet at all, really enjoyed it. Sandwich was delicious and toppings didn't fall out which is much appreciated - pimento cheese was very good and bread was crusty and yummy. The donut was cakey and just the right amount of sweetness. When we asked for hot sauce, they said to just choose any hot sauce from their display market and pop it open. Namaste & Rose Arbol Eateey was newly opened in June 2022. It's a restaurant expresso bar that offers breakfast, smoothies, acai bowls etc. I went to this evenr on 8/27 & it was an extremely cute idea to have Yoga on an early Saturday morning followed by a 3-course Brunch catered by Arbol Eatery and picnic setup by QC Luxury Picnics. The food was absolutely delicious, I met some nice women & it was extremely refreshing. I do believe they will be having another event in 10/29, but stop by the restaurant for the amazing food in the interim. read more

The food is really expensive, which I wouldn't mind paying if the food was good. The food tastes like cafeteria food, I have had food from the hospital that tasted better. I been here twice and both times has been blah. I got a smoothie, a can of coke and a Nutella croissant for a total of $25 dollars, the coke was $3 dollars, they don't have prices on the items and I'm guessing it is because like me, many people don't want to put something back after they have scanned, but if they see the price before they wouldn't pick it up. The smoothie didn't have any taste, the croissant was blah. Oh, if you have food allergies do not come here, pretty much everything is pre mixed. This was told to me by the sever, the smoothies are premixed and when I told her that I had a food allergy, she didn't change her gloves. The place is beautiful and I am sure they pay a lot for rent and that's why the prices are insane. The owner got offended by this review, and instead of listening to the customer, the owner responded with "they are lies". The refrigerator where the drinks are has no prices. The croissant had Nutella only in one half of the croissant and not all throughout the half. The smoothie did not tasted good, I had the one that has berries and it did not tasted like berries and it was very runny. The "prices" I have had a bottle of coke from other locations in downtown and they were about 3 dollars, a can of coke being the same price as a bottle of coke is insane. But again, if the food and the smoothie tasted good, I wouldn't mind paying the prices. But they didn't. I was told by many of the people in the building not to go there because the food was blah, I tried it the first time 3 months ago and the "Cuban" sandwich was horrible, but every place deserves a second chance, and that's why I tried it again. So I would like to introduce you to the arbol eatery. First and foremost the space is amazing, peaceful and calm. The staff is amazing and help, fast and accommodating. When I tell you the flavors of the food I received were top notch then you will have to try cause it was in my top there so far. Now the latte I ordered basically a treat!! They've only been open a month or so and I think you'll like it if you go and visit them. It's in the same building as Morton's. Tucked next to the lobby of the office building, this cafe is cute and bright for a morning stop. It's also adjacent to the buildings fitness center. You can't see it from the street (although there is a sign on Poplar), but will if you enter the office building lobby. Breakfast burrito was good - warm and ample chorizo. Chai latte was just ok because they only had whole milk or alternative milks (which I don't care for) and charged an up charge; equivalent of a medium chai was over $7. It's decent if you're in the building and for convenience but may not be not worth a walk out of the way. read more

Price and quality. This place sorted to top of the review list so I tried them. Coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Directed to non-existent ingredients on a coffee bar. Confusion in the prep area resulted in a greasy croissant with thin ingredients. Another point-of-sale process that has tipping ahead of the service. Came to check out my friends new restaurant and the food was amazing. We tried the breakfast burrito and the flan chocolate cake. We also tried their smoothies & tres leches latte highly recommend their matcha smoothie if you like matcha! Everything was so fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back try the other items on the menu. If you are entering in through the parking garage that is connected to the building Arbol is located make sure to take the elevator to the Lobby area. They do validate parking! Okay so this place has the most amazing sandwiches and isn't quite busy yet! I'm plant based and while there wasn't an item on the menu the chef asked me if he could make me something similar to the Grecio without feta... and usually when I ask for something without the usuals I get just that a half hearted sandwich... BUT NOT HERE! Chef Edwin made an amazing vegetarian panini for me with the most tasty sun dried tomatoes and it was everything I could dream of honestly it was so good I went back two days in a row (today and yesterday) because it was so good and I knew I wouldn't be able to find a panini of this quality and caliber anywhere else uptown. I'd post a photo of my food but... it's already gone I went with friends each time and one friend got the Cuban and the other got an Italian and both said their sandwiches were so delicious they would come again and the other said "I see why you wanted to come back so soon, I want another to go" They aren't even operating with their full menu as they are waiting on some equipment but I could not tell if anything wasn't moving smoothly, the employees are so nice and helpful I'll definitely keep coming back! The chef had a pop up taco stand at my apartment and the tacos were amazing!! The meat was cooked perfectly and the shells consisted of 2 tortillas with cheese melted in between! I thought the food here was amazing! I have only tried two of the sandwiches - the Italiano and the Cubano - but both of them were amazing!! One point of constructive feedback - service can be a bit faster. If you're positioned in the bottom of a busy office building, you need to be able to put out food and drinks a bit quicker. I haven't had a big issue with this, but I've heard several colleagues express frustration about the slow service.
