I was treated very rudely today by a man in a back office who seemed to be in charge of Architectural Fabricators Co. on N. Hwy 75, Bartlesville, OK. When the front desk lady inquired of him about my order for a $200 piece of glass, he barked back to me, "Have you been called?" I said, "No". He gruffly said, "If you haven't been called, it's not ready." I explained that it had been three weeks or more and I simply wanted to know what to expect, since nobody had ever called me.
Without speaking he stormed to the back of the building and eventually emerged with glass in hand. I had only come to inquire, not to take the glass. But he walked outside and silently stood by my car while I scrambled to clean up my tools to make a space. He put it in and walked back inside, shutting the door behind him. No "thank you", no "sorry". Absolutely nothing.
I have no idea what his problem was, but he certainly took it out on me. I went back in and told the poor apologetic lady that I would never do business here again. This man's customer service was horrible. And I will make sure as many people know about it as possible. Especially for someone who appeared to either be the owner or the person in charge, it was inexcusable. I was obviously just a small-time customer, not a big-buck client, and he made sure I felt that way. Buy your glass elsewhere if at all possible. I certainly will. read more
