When the system died we had to go to 100% emergency electric heat. Our house is 3200 SF and the electric bill was $800. Buschur's did a great job during the whole process. Their staff was so knowledgeable, respectful. honest, and friendly. We love the new geothermal, bill has gone down drastically. Also, we had Buschur's put 2 electric, and 2 wood burning inserts in our non functional fire places. Lastly, we had them install a mini split at the far end of the house to help heat and cool. He was mad at his employees, the tight space, and the inconvenience on a Friday, and he was not holding it back. The amount of times I (and my young child) heard the f word and that he was going to quit the job blew my mind. It was very clear and there was no confusion about what was being said. I can't help that my house is older, that a smaller person wasn't available to get into the tight space, or the fact it happened on a Friday. The "finished" job was shoddy, and will be fixed by someone else. After the last employee "cleaned up" we picked up drink bottles, supplies, and rocks through the basement. If you don't mind unprofessional, vulgar language and attitudes and having to fix things and clean up, then this may be your solution, but we will not be calling again. Tim Angle, the owner and his son were able to arrive just the second day after I called for service. They were able to trouble shoot the unit under extemely cold conditions and found that the fuel valve was not opening plus the battery was very weak. The generator was back up and running in less than 90 minutes. Taking the time to truly trouble shoot the root cause and not assign blame prematurely to the control board was special in my experience as a retired design engineer. The repair invoice was very reasonable for the materials and labor involved which added icing for this "cake".
