Didn't I Mention high humidity and you'll run out of stuff to wear. Well it cost 200 pesos that ten bucks! That's all and it was folded and ready in a few hours. I tipped the girl 5 bucks and we were on our way. Next time we visit we are gonna have the service truck pick up our stuff from the hotel, definitely a must if you need laundry done here in the centro of Oaxaca.

Whenever I find a nice shirt that is a bit to big, or my pockets of my favourite trousers have a hole, I go here to get it sorted. They are very competent and the owner, I guess Paco:p, is really friendly. They have loads of machinery to fix different types of things. Because of the name: Paco Piel, piel means leather, they are specialised in painting leather jackets, bags, etc. and fixing leather things such as motorbike seats, jackets and bags. You do have to fuss a bit to get your stuff done on time. They tend to take a bit longer than they promised. Other then that they always deliver a great result with a very fair price. I also made a good deal once, I asked them to fix a pair of trousers and saw a nice leather jacket that had been left by a client 3 years ago. I paid a small amount for my repair and the jacket.

This price was not so great or the service so speedy, since the great bulk of the cost is the screen not the labor, and it had to be trucked in from Mex City. I think there is a heavy tax on such imports here in MX. The English spoken here is much better than my Spanish and generally gets by. If necessary you can use Google Translate in the shop.
