I am concerned that when clients are given 8:00am appointments that the door of the building is not…read moreopened a few minutes before 8:00am to accommodate clients arriving a few early for their appointments. I would think that such promptness would be encouraged. Being able to wait in the waiting room and not outside in inclement weather would definitely be a health move in favor of clients. There are some clients who are ill, others who do not drive and are dropped off, and those who come a little early. Having a warm waiting room to sit in on a cold and/or rainy morning can protect the health of those seeking health and wellness services. What is even more frustrating is when you can see people sitting inside looking at clients standing outside in the rain, and in the cold and refuse to open the door waiting on the clock to strike. I don't think that that is in the best interest of clients, if the welfare of clients is first priority. I don't think that it is in anyone's best interest to have clients standing outside no matter their condition.

Four months on from my wellness visit I am being hounded by labcorp for payment due to an original…read moremiscoding when ordering lab work for me. They didn't code the visit as a wellness visit and coded as a meet and greet with a new doctor. This was despite me not requesting a change of primary care provider. The change was only necessary because the provider left McLeod. After I got bills from McLeod , I contacted them and they eventually corrected their own bill but they are refusing to contact labcorp with updated coding so that labcorp can correct their bill. I have spent too many hours of my time on the phone with blue cross and with labcorp and they both tell my it has to be the provider who initially ordered the blood draws that has to contact them in order for this to be corrected.

They would not allow me back to see him or talk to the dr. The charge nurse was no better and didn't want to hear anything I said. I did nothing wrong, I was in tears and so worried. These women should not be in the nursing profession they have no people skills, kindness or compassion. I will be filing a formal complaint and will not stop until I'm sure no one else will have to go through what I did. Also he was sent home in the same condition as he came. He asked me to take him to a different hospital. We went to seacoast McLeod And he was admitted. On a good note they were so very very kind and compassionate and treated his condition with the concern it deserved. It was the best hospital experience you could have asked for. Every single person was absolutely amazing. Thank you to all including our amazing floor nurses Kimberlyn and Shay.

This was really disheartening. On another occasion I visited the office for an apt and needed blood work. After the visit with Dr Sturcken, I was talking with the lady taking blood and mentioned an issue I thought I may have and asked if they were taking blood for my thyroid as well. She said no but she could easily add it. Dr. Sturcken literally got frustrated and stated, "I already put your charts away," and was upset that she now needed to get them back out and add that. The latest upset is due to me moving out of state. A prescription I have is ending soon and I don't have a dr apt here for three months. Mind you, it took me a year to find a new dr, so I understand the inability to see me to renew more prescriptions. I was just hopeful she could refill it for a couple more months. She said no, so I asked if I should cut them in half to hold me over and she said she can't offer advice on that. I guess just overall, I've had multiple negative experiences with Dr. Sturcken.
