Our family has been going to Arena's since we moved to Front Street. A wonderful family owned business that just keeps getting better. Earlier this week I stopped in an purchased NY strip steaks - and they were absolutely delish! The only seasoning needed was salt and pepper - excellent marbleling and oh so tasty. Was recommended to try this butcher out by a few people. So I gave it a go and purchased a few big tomahawk steaks and a few ribeyes. I cooked the tomahawks within 8 hours of picking up. They came out great. The ribeyes I bought looked fantastic in the cooler at the shop. I noticed within 2 days of them being in my fridge there was a gross rancid smell coming from them so I took them out and was blown away that the meat actually had gone bad. So maybe I'm just unlucky, but with meat delivery services being so good and fresh nowadays it's tough to justify making the drive and the price for meat that doesn't last 3 days in your fridge. read more

This is the best butcher that we have found for pork, beef, lamb, chicken and venison at a price that is fair for the excellent quality. They specialise in the very good quality meat butchered to your specific requirements. We ordered a goose for Christmas, it was delicous too. The staff are very helpful. The shop is basic, but the meat is outstanding. read more
