I have just completed a 25-hour intensive driving course over the last 5 days with Steve and I passed my test today with just two minors! I'm absolutely delighted and couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for the help, support, guidance, patience and motivation of Steve! I felt instantly relaxed with him and knew he would get me prepared for my test within my tight deadline. Steve's car is perfect to learn to drive in and very easy to maneuver. Steve explains everything in plain English and has a way of making things stick in your head. He is incredibly patient and soothing, and managed to keep me motivated for 5 hours a day, 5 days in a row so that's a talent! I couldn't mention any bad points at all about Aries there aren't any. Having heard other people's experiences with driving lessons, I feel lucky that I was taught how to drive by Steve. Excellent teacher, patient, honest, tells it how it is without intimidating you or making you feel uncomfortable. Aims to teach you the most, in the least time, and constantly reinforces skills you have already learnt. Passed my test this morning and as relieved and happy i am i will miss my driving lessons with Steve. He was a brilliant and patient instructor who was so easy to get along with. I passed first time with Stephen and would definitely recommend him to any learner. Stephen puts a huge ammount of effort in to every lesson (you even receive a full booklet of handouts for everything you need to know), at excellent value for money which was important to me as a student. The booklet also includes a grid so that you can keep track of how confident you are with every aspect of driving, and every lesson you have had. The car that Aries use is excellent for learners modern, clean and comfortable but easy enough to use and control. Just passed my driving test yesterday with two minor marks. I hadn't done lessons since I was 18 with a previous instructor (I'm now 26) and Steve did very well to keep me motivated and to get me through my test. I found his approach to lessons very impressive as I felt they were specific to my progress and previous experience in driving. Steve is very approachable and helpful if you have any questions regarding your driving and it was a pleasure to learn to drive with him as my instructor. Passed my practical driving test last thursday with 3 minors and couldn't be happier! I did 26.5 hours driving before i sat my test, and that was all with Steve and passed both my thory and practical test first time! The booklet that you get when you start lessons really helps. None of my friends got any booklets from their driving instructors! When Steve thinks you are ready for the test he won't muck you around and will tell you straight. Passed my test with only 10 hours of driving lessons, could not have done it without Steve's help! He was a fantastic driving instructor who was excellent to get on with. He is full of good ideas and his teaching methods cant be beat! I had such a great learning experience with steve! I swapped instructors after a few lessons but wish i was with steve from the start because i think i would have passed even sooner! i couldnt have passed without steve and his encouragement. I would reccommend steve to everyone! learning something can sometimes get boring but steve made the lessons enjoyable. Passed my test first time all thanks to Steve. Brilliant instructor, really patient, calm teaching style puts you at ease. Always happy to answer my questions, very punctual with appointment times and will go out of his way to accommodate you. Progress was mapped with a booklet and I could see at a glance how I was getting on and what was left to be done. Steve put me forward for my test as soon as he felt I was ready and didn't hold me back at all. I am now considering the Pass Plus driving course with Steve as my instructor. I would recommend Steve at Aries driving school to anyone. I was very nervous when I first started learning but Steve made me feel confident and comfortable within my first hour. The progress book you receive helped me immensely as it contains information about manoeuvres, hints and tips along with a progress chart. I passed my test today with only 7 minor faults after 23 hours worth of lessons. Steve is an extremely helpful and friendly instructor with more patience than I could ever hope to have. I started off very unsure of the car and my abilities, but he quickly helped me work through that and helped build my confidence. The booklet that comes with the sessions is extremely helpful and helps illustrate certain manoeuvres when you may have trouble with them. Feel a very confident driver now after passing my test with Steve. Great prices - and all worth it. Some drivers tend to waver about, but I got the best of my money constantly.
