It's nice to find someone with some integrity too. He could have very easily charged me for a home appraisal, but he was nice enough to answer my questions on the phone for free. I was debating spending a lot of money on a bathroom remodel just to sell my house. He spent about 20 mins on the phone with me giving his 30-years of experience expert opinion. I asked him about him doing an appraisal just to see where I'm at before selling. He could of very easily taken my money, but he said I didn't need to waste the money on him since buyers will have to do their own appraisal anyway.
