Marc came out that day and looked at what needed to be done, he followed up with a quote within a day or so and the crew was out to fix the deck within a week. They redid 3 sections of our deck and it looks awesome. I am very happy with the work and will absolutely contact Marc for any future repairs or upgrades we make to the pool/deck. Only complaint is that we found a razor blade laying on the floor outside which could have been bad if my son had found it or if anyone stepped on it, but other than that I am very happy with the work completed.

Our salesman David was extremely patient with us as we deliberated all our choices (we were still considering traditional "cool" decking) and never pressured us or tried to upsell. In fact, he went out of his way to be sure we got the best price possible. Once we booked it, communication from the project manager was timely and professional; I was happy with the emails and texts I received updating me with the estimate, work timeline, and day-of information. On installation day, the crew (Martin, Francisco, and Jorge Sr.) were punctual, friendly, and efficient. They maintained an immaculate worksite, even laying down tarps in our driveway for where they'd be running the wheelbarrow across to the back yard. They worked solidly for their entire time on the job, but were friendly when I popped out with questions or to take photos. I was especially impressed with the care they took with the edging around our pool--I'm sure they sighed a bit when they saw all of the cutout edges and corners (what a job this would be!) but they cheerfully took it in hand and spent as much time on each joint as it took to make it perfect. They were so careful with trimming the edges of the grass so as to be able to trowel the rubberstone in a perfect arch all the way around--it looks absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail was above and beyond what I expected. I'm absolutely delighted with the look of the new deck. Our poor old deck was in such bad shape, and now the back yard is completely transformed. It's truly gorgeous! We (including all the grandbabies) spend virtually the entire summer in and around our pool, so having a softer, cooler surface than traditional "cool" deck is going to be a game-changer. I contacted the Arrowhead and they sent out Scott who took measurements and explained what they would do to transform our deck from 2000 to 2024! Scott gave us a very fair quote and we decided to go along with Arrowhead to do our project. The next person that I was introduced to is Cory, who is the Project Manager. Cory was friendly, always smiling and gave us a fresh, relaxed feeling about our project. We were very apprehensive, but Cory explained everything they would be doing and calmed any apprehensions that we had. Cory was very thorough at how the process goes from how they will cover the pool water and tape all the surfaces off so they can concentrate on the work that they do. The first process was to remove this big boulder that we had on the deck and a bunch of small stones that were embedded in concrete. The crew came out and hand removed all embedded stones and a hand chiseled this huge boulder away. It took them all day, but when they left, we couldn't even tell that they had done all this work because the yard was SO CLEAN and area fresh concrete and it looked really beautiful. Cory stopped by to make sure everything was OK and said that the next crew out would be the "Pool Brothers"! Juan, who is the supervisor of the Pool Brothers, came out and said that his crews are the crews that will grind off the existing surface and then reapply all the various layers to complete the project. Every step of the way, Juan would ask if we wanted to come out and take a look, even though it wasn't necessary, which I thought was very professional Then we got to the point where we had to pick our colors and Juan took his time and didn't rush and showed us pictures of previous jobs they had performed and give us his thoughts of what would look best with our house paint color, and our pool color and landscape. When they were done, Juan had us come out and take a look and we were just blown away at how beautiful our new Deck & Patio was! Juan explained the process that we had to stay off the deck for 4 days and Juan said not to put the furniture back on the surface for another 3 days for a total of 7 days. My wife and I are so happy and ecstatic at how Arrowhead Deck & Pool has taken our old tired deck & patio and transformed it into a new deck & patio. After calling and setting up an appointment, David Newland came out the next day with a detailed folder that included both packages. I confirmed that I wanted the $34,750 option, and asked him to send me a quote based on that package after measuring my backyard. I understood there would be some additional costs, such as excavation and fees for limited access through a standard residential gate that 99% of homes have which roughly adds 1-2k max. However, the final quote came in at $47,000--far exceeding the advertised package price. In my view, this felt like false advertising and was a major waste of time. I strongly encourage others to be cautious and do their research before committing.
