AIT uses deceptive practices to lure students into signing up for courses promising jobs, and lies…read moreabout using federal student loan money to pay for classes. I signed up for the school in August 2015. When I first signed up I told them I was enrolled in another school and would be getting financial aid. They pulled some report and said it wasn't showing up and not to worry about it. I went into financial aid everyday for two weeks and told them I didn't have any financial aid left for this term, but they kept saying everything looked good, and not to worry to keep going to classes. Week two rolls around, and the financial aid office called me for more documents and transcripts and notified me of what I already knew, I don't have financial aid funds to cover tuition. Thanks to them telling me I'm fine repeatedly, I am into the school for 75% of the tuition if I have to drop because they lied about the funding for my tuition. All I heard for two weeks from financial aid was, everything is fine. Two weeks and one day, into the program, I got notice to see financial aid. They told me my financial aid package fell through and needed to sign up for one of their high interest rate in house loans. Seemed really fishy, so I told them I was leaving the school and would be finishing somewhere else, they said fine. Last week, a whole year later, I recieved a letter from a collection agency stating I owed tuition in full. I never received anything from them stating anything the day I left. The school is a rip off. The instructors are also very sexist against women entering the field. I had several instances where I was put on the spot for being a female, asking why I would want to enter a mans field. The school is a scam. The school is now owned by Werner Enterprises. When we went were told we'd have pre hire letters from at least 4 companies, and got them from one, Werner. We didn't like their pay scale and preferred to go to another company, but felt highly pressured to work at Werner. We found out later, they get kickback money from the company and at the time we're secretly owned by them. Buyer beware!!!

So called them today just to get pricing information on the school and could not get anywhere the…read moresupervisor even tried to belittle me and tell me I was looking for the man under the bridge, I will not use this company, at all. Maybe I just want to learn a new skill... why is it there business if I want to get a class A license... this company is a joke I will not suggest that any one goes to this so called school...
