She diagnosed. She recommended treatment. She is gone @ 11:16 am. Maybe she is that good (3 minutes) Nurse Practitioner scheduled follow up appointment about 2 weeks out. I'm out of room @11:19. Picking up ointment at front desk @ 11:20 $28 Cicalfate now out of the office @ 11:21. Downstairs pharmacy @ 11:22 - 11:26. Prescription filled Xolegel covered through insurance @ no charge. In my car @ 11:27... We shall see! Update 1/18/17: after 8 uses (Friday night Saturday morning/night Sunday morning/late afternoon Monday morning/night [noticed spreading that evening] Tuesday morning - over a five day period) of Cicalfate the condition worsened. Contacted the office about refund and got an unexpected response... If Dr. Moore recommended it you shouldn't have caused a reaction - but I did. Rescheduled appointment for tomorrow morning to examine the condition and then they will discuss further treatment and/or refund. Update 1/19/17: appointment @ 8 am in signed in @ 7:50 in the back room @ 8 am Dr. Moore in @ 8:06 - 8:13... She indicated more steps to treat condition. There will not be a copay today since I was just in... The reaction to the Cicalfate could be to the higher level of inflammation. So, now she prescribed Elidel that should knock out the inflammation and then the Cicalfate should bring back the color. Moved original appointment from January 25 to January 30 to see if it corrects the reaction/condition. Informed to call back just as I did if it causes a reaction. Out of the office @8:16 in pharmacy @8:20 - 8:31 am for Elidel for $25. Alright...! read more

i got my mole removed like a month ago i think?¿ i dunno, sometime in october 2020. idk why there's so many bad reviews, the procedure and wait time in the lobby wasn't bad at all. I waited only like 2min and then got called to the back to get my mole removed. First, they cleaned the area, numbed me (it was tolerable, the needles just felt like little pinches) & then they cut the mole out n stitched me up :)) My skin is healing up really nice. However, i accidentally hit the scar really hard and it bruised up again, but iced it and put cicalfate (skin repair cream) on it every night and it's fine again lol that was my fault oopsies i'm clumsy. But yea, i'm happy with the results, they did accept my insurance, but we still had to pay, but i didn't mind bc i wanted my mole gone lol. read more

I used this dermatologist one time about 8-10 years ago without incident. I haven't had any issues since this visit, but now I've had another problem arise, I thought I'd go with familiarity and proximity. I cannot get through to a human being when I call. I called multiple times, various times throughout the day. This should've been a red flag. After time and time again, I finally reached a person and was able to ask for the cost of an office visit. I somewhat wish I would've set up an appointment at that time. I have continued to call back to set an appointment in hopes I can speak to someone instead of leaving a voicemail. I work. I don't have tons of free time during the day to talk on the phone. I especially don't have time to wait for someone to call me back (appointment requests are handled through a voicemail you leave and then wait for a call back). I would've gladly paid the $120.00 office visit and any additional to have an appointment and solve my issue. However, after calling several other offices and speaking to people instead of recording systems, I have scheduled an appointment elsewhere before this office even called me back. This has been a surprisingly bad experience. The waiting room is cluttered with bible quotes. I didn't feel like I was in a doctor's office. It was extreme! There's also religious music playing. Just not an appropriate atmosphere. Super awkward. Then I waited well over an hour to see a doctor for 5 minutes. I ended up leaving before the appointment was over because everything was taking too long. Somehow they scheduled a followup appointment (omg) that I am now struggling to cancel. Go anywhere else. This place is such a scam. Don't believe the positive reviews. I came here because it was open at 7am and I didn't have to miss work. It was extremely packed but, I got in pretty quick. I paid me $40 copay up front. The doctor, Angela Moore, rushed through the visit so fast that I felt like it was an assembly line. She spoke extremely fast and didn't explain a thing. All she did was push you to buy all these creams that "you need" that of course aren't covered by insurance. She never did a complete exam as I requested and undressed for; she only looked at areas I asked her to. When I went to check out, I had to pay another $198. I found out that she doesn't bill the insurance for all the spots removed but charges a $120 flat fee then the cost of the creams. That's all and well but, I received a bill for another $36.61 from the office stating that was my balance. They DID bill my insurance and the $120 wasn't included. What a scam. *** Make sure they tell you all the costs up front! read more

Dr. Moore is a ghost - some claim to have seen her, most have not, myself included. Okay well not entirely true. I did see her... for about 30 seconds on the first visit where she said hello, never again since. I have been to Arlington Dermatology three times now for the same problem (and paid three co-pays on insurance) only to finally get mediocre results. Dr. Moore has not actually diagnosed, prescribed or treated anything, rather the Practitioner/Dr.'s Assistant has done all the work. With a crowded waiting room every time I have been as well as the salesman pitch of always recommending I buy something from their in house soap/topical/treatment spa clinic, I'm off to find another, more professional Dermatologist. read more

Dr. Moore is good doctor! I've been seeing her since my senior year of high school. I have acne, and it has gotten much better. Even though I'm on two face creams, and three oral pills. The only thing I hate about it, is that Dr. Moore is so busy with other patients that she doesn't spend enough time with you. She'll see you for not even 5 mins, then leaves! One time I had to wait an hour for her in the room, I was so mad! I guess she was running late or something. She should know that patients are waiting her! Ask for the "cold slush", they rub it all over your face to open up the pores, and clears the face. It's great! Her office specializes in a lot of medical procedures (botox, sun less tanning, laser hair removal, etc) & also they have their own brand of make up and facial washes, which are expensive. I wouldn't recommend the facial washes because you can get a different brand over the counter which is much cheaper and it does the same exact thing! read more

Would give a 0 star if I could... was asked to pay $50 copay each time I had messaged a simple question over their online portal to have the PA answer it. Saw Dr. Moore during my first consultation and never again. A ghost- just like that she disappeared. Saw her PA each time for no longer than 5 minutes before she left me in the office with a nurse. Said "i don't know" for majority of the questions I asked and so i had to end up googling them all in the end. I read similar reviews about this place on Google but was magically hoping for a better personal experience there. Was unfortunately wrong and will never be going back here. read more

Dr. Moore spent very little time with me in each of my three visits. The bottom line for her is to make money by seeing as many patients as she can by spending minutes with each one. She probably is a good doctor but her "bedside manner" is nil. I also do not think it is appropriate to mix her views of religion with her practice. There are religious scriptures, posters and other media in the waiting area as well as in the patient rooms. A good Christian does not flaunt his/her religion. A good doctor and person of faith should spend more time and care with her patients instead of lining her deep pockets. read more

I've been here 3 times before on a referral from my MD..I once saw Dr. Moore, she barely glanced at my "issue" and from then on it was the Nurse Practitioner. The NP was very nice but I would've like to have seen more than just Dr. Moore's shadow. I find I have another issue and can't get a referral to another Dermatologist at this time. Wonderful, caring, professional AND continues to be up to date on the newest treatments!! Yes, the waiting room is busy..Dr. Moore is worth all of us waiting..but.. The wait is short and the visit is very personal!! My family has gone here for over three years and had NO problem seeing Dr. Moore personally...she has been right with me through three skin cancer issues and even dropped an insurance carrier that refuses to allow follow up visits for cancer patients!!! She and her staff are so wonderful that I continue to stay with them even though it happens that it was MY insurance carrier that was dropped!! So, just look at the Road Rage comments for what they are..road rage...put yourself in great hands with Dr. Moore!!!! read more

I have been to see Dr. Moore a couple of times and have found her to be very efficient as well as competent and caring. I highly recommend her. There were a number of people in the waiting room yet my wait time was fairly short. When I was seen by the doctor she didn't waste any time. I came here with hopes of resolving some skin issues; however, that was not the case. The one and only time I've ever seen Dr. Moore was my very first visit. She rushed in and out of the room without any consideration of me as her patient. After I turned down the more major treatments, she left abruptly without a single word to me. And that's it. I never saw her again. The Nurse Practitioner, Kelly Lee, was about the same. She made me feel like a nuisance with each appointment, and was unable to resolve any of my concerns. I seriously regret ever going to this office. Worst choice of Dermatology and definitely a huge mistake. As patients, we visit the doctor not because we want to, but because we have serious concerns that we would like resolved and/or treated. We go in there feeling nervous, anxious, and hopeful; and when we're greeted without any patience, consideration, and understanding... it's just extremely disappointing. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of the nurse practitioner we saw who was very nice. Forget going to see Dr. Moore, you won't. Like another reviewer, I paid the co-pay, saw the nurse practitioner (who was nice) and Dr. Moore came in for 10-15 seconds. She didn't even look at my daughters skin condition! Just touched her arm (the rash was on her bottom) and mumbled something about additional things she wanted us to purchase. Frankly this borders on malpractice as far as I'm concerned especially since my daughters rash is worse despite the treatment that was prescibed. So now we are off to a different dermatologist. "Dr." Moore should be ashamed of herself, especially presenting herself as such a religion based, Godly person. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself letting a sweet 6 month old baby suffer because she can't find one minuet of her day (which I very much overpaid for) to evaluate her condition. read more

Dr Angela Moore is great! I have been a patient for over 10 years & have had Skin Cancer & Psoriasis in the past & I am very pleased with the successful treatments I received. I also did Patch Testing to find out things I was allergic too, which was very helpful. read more
