    Wagyu NY Strip

Service: Good all around. They have a valet service and the attendants were so nice. The server gave us recommendations and told us some of her favorites and veered us in a direction to have a nice cohesive meal. The server didn't write things down, so a couple of the smaller items we requested did not come out. Food: Winter Burrata Salad - Wonderful Mix of Textures. The flavors were warm and inviting for the winter vegetables and pumpkin seed, while the creaminess of the cheese paired well with the crunch of the crispy prosciutto Wagyu New York Strip - well seasoned. Since this is such a fatty cut of steak, we ask for it to be cooked medium to render some of the fat out. The steak is very buttery and coats your mouth. Cowboy Steak - Okay. Even though it was dry aged, it didn't have the nuttiness a dry aged steak would have. I would splurge and get the tomahawk if a ribeye is what you desire. Foie Gras Risotto - Full Funk! It had the same funkiness as eating goat cheese. If you like that funk, then this is for you. After taking this home and reheating with a bit of water, the funk was diluted a bit. Kitchen Potatoes - Buttery. Lovely to have a change of pace to not have mashed potatoes on the table. The chunks of potatoes were fried to become fluffy and crispy. Brussels Sprouts - Sweet. The sprouts had a sweetener that threw it off balance. Mille Feuille Dessert - best dessert! This was a specialty item for the night. The pastry was crip and the custard was decadent! On to my next adventure...

My absolute favorite restaurant on Long Island. I've been coming here since it opened and it always a winner each time. It feels like Manhattan without taking the LIRR. I LOVD the entire atmosphere, the James Bond vibe, the classy look and when it warmer the upstairs outside area. The drinks, food and service is TOP TIER. This is a place for a special celebration. The pork chop is my go to. Love ya Arlo.

Lamb chops mint crusted were great !

The restaurant is beautiful . We were a party of 6 and we were sat in a spacious booth that was perfect for us with 2 kids. Our waiter was very kind and knowledgeable . They were very attentive and stopped by to refill our water and bread often. The food was delicious and all cooked perfectly. The music was also great ! Pork chop with asparagus was my favorite with spicy peppers.

Absolutely blown away by the food and service at Arlo! One of the best meals I ever had. Gorgeous interior as well. They had a live violin player who even played happy birthday for us and the restaurant gave us a birthday card. The steaks were cooked perfectly, broccolini and mac and cheese soooo delicious. The desserts were some of the best ever. Cheesecake was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

First a foremost - the location and service are fabulous. Contemporary meets mid century modern, and breathtaking out door space make this a feast for the eye and pleasure for the senses. Staff has always been very welcoming, and attentive. They food IMHO - total gamble. Each plate can either incredibly good of incredulously bad. No rhyme or reason or reason to it other than what I can assume is poor teamwork and attention to detail in the kitchen. For instance, the bone marrow in the pictured item was completely raw.. unless that bone marrow is prepared properly beforehand and put into the casserole. There's no way to effectively bake them at the same time and have the marrow be cooked.. that was the case here. In addition that entire plate had zero seasoning or balance.... All fat, no flavor... nothing popped. Just blah. Same for many of the brunch items... no pop or flavor to make a memory. Just blah. Contrast that against every pasta dish we've had here which has been absolutely fabulous. I'm not a professional chef nor do I pretend to be one... but I am a keen observer of service quality and appreciate the craft, so it saddens me that food and preparation is so inconsistent at Arlo in my experience.

Arlo is a fancy and upscale place, and I've been here a few times for dinner, including New Years Eve because we wanted to get dressed up nice and still stay local. But the food is always underwhelming, overpriced, and just not worth it compared to many other restaurants on the island, or even in Suffolk County. We probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

This place is a great date night spot. The food is delicious and great dessert options. Staff was friendly.

    clearly states the kettle one.

Honestly beautiful ambiance but the bartender we had was not up to the standard. Not personable kind of rude and stand off-ish. First off ID my boyfriend and I (which sure that's okay) but makes a face at my ID which like ??? Then I proceeded to pour tito's in my lychee martini which clearly states kettle one ... then does not garnish my drink. Which if you drink a lychee martini it's for that flavor and that garnish. I got over that and then I see him garnishing all the same drinks going out for the tables but not mine. I tried again and ordered another round for me and my boyfriend and this time specified that I wanted the garnish this time. Yet again he gives us both tito's in our 22$ martinis that specified kettle one. After only giving me my next drink I now had to ask again to please receive another round including my boyfriend's drink aswell..... never provided us water after ASKING aswell. Just overall disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful but if you are putting price tags like they are have the employees match that. I have no problem spending money when it is deserved. Especially when i'm only expecting what is on the menu to begin with not anything more...... it was also my birthday!

Here now. The decor is very nice. The staff is nice. Made mistake of ordering cowboy ribeye. Very underseasoned. Wish went to The James in Babylon. And if you come here to do valet parking be prepared to wait 15 mins for car in cold weather.

Went back for Mother's Day brunch. Had a great time. The service was great and the food was delicious. My husband went with the steak and eggs. I got the lobster avocado toast. We started with the tuna tartar.

This might just be *the* most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to on Long Island! My mom had her heart set on celebrating her birthday here, so we went for brunch--and wow, what a great choice. The place is cozy, stunning, and the staff? Absolutely amazing. We kicked things off with a glass of Prosecco For entrées, I went with the eggs Benedict, which came with the most delicious truffle hollandaise--rich, but not overpowering and the most delicious crispy breakfast potatoes! My mom went for the lobster avocado toast. They do NOT skimp on the lobster. It was so good! When they found out it was my mom's birthday and that I recently got engaged, they surprised us with a baked Alaska! Sweet, thoughtful, and so delicious. And if that wasn't enough, they brought out another round of champagne on the house! I've honestly never seen a staff go above and beyond like that. We were there with two friends who had been there before and told us how beautiful the upstairs dining area is. Sadly, it was closed for a private event, but now I have a reason to come back--and I will be back! The pastas on the menu looked incredible, so I might have to plan a dinner visit next time. Highly, highly recommend this place--it's a total gem!

    Tuna tartare
    Ash M.

Very classy restaurant with incredible service. The food here is top notch and their menu has a variety of options with a focus on seafood. Their cosmos and espresso martinis are perfectly strong while having lots of flavor. The tuna tartare was fresh and tasty! I liked the grilled octopus but I wouldn't order it again, it just wasn't my favorite but it was still tasty. The seared ahi tuna was delicious and the dish had lots of flavor to it. The Wagyu was the star of the show and was a special on their menu. The marbling was amazing and the steak was perfectly cooked. We ended with the rosemary creme brûlée which was so sweet and savory and I loved every bite! I can't wait to come back!

Looking for a burger, I picked the Zen burger which was not listed as having walnuts. I even called the restaurant to confirm this burger was nut free. When I bit into this burger, within 30 seconds, I realized something was wrong when my lips started swelling up and my throat started to close in. My husband called the restaurant back and again asked if the zen burger had walnuts. I was assured that it did not. When I said, please go ask the kitchen, the person on the phone did and confirmed, "oh, it does have a little bit of walnuts in it". I don't think that the people working here understood the severity of this and they offered a refund of the meal that we threw away. Wow, how generous! I spoke to the manager and she just said sorry and that the owner would contact us. We wound up having to go to the hospital over this, after just leaving with our newborn. What a day. It's been a week and my husband has stopped by the talk to the owner but she hasn't been there and has not called, emailed, or done anything since. I don't care if she is busy, it honestly doesn't matter, this is important and I needed some reassurance that this would never happen again to anyone since someone else could have died from this but that never happened. I guess she is just too busy to care. Unfortunately, this is a local business that I used to love but I will never come back and would advise anyone with a food allergy to go somewhere else. The next day they did update the menu and the zen burger now does say "contains walnuts" but it's not reassuring that this will never happen again.
