I uncovered a session of incredible, haunting photos that she took of her own daughter in Parc Outremont one Fall and was instantly sold by their colors, composition, and the portrait of the fragile, fleeting beauty of childhood. Since Kate is a mom, she knows how to relate to kids and how to coax the most beautiful belly laughs and joyful expressions out of them. What she was able to get out of my three year-old daughter and me in that hour or so was pure gold. My favorite photo of my daughter is one that Kate captured during that session, and that's saying a lot since we must have thousands of pictures of our baby girl by now! Kate also offers incredible value. We later did a family session in Central Park with one of New York City's TOP family photographers whose basic fee was about 6 times more than Kate's...and although the photos are indeed beautiful, I think that Kate's work is even more timeless and iconic! It is worth flying out to Montreal just to have her capture your special moments (especially with the advantage of the US/CAD exchange rate), and I would do so in an instant should the USA/Canada borders reopen! She is professional, reliable, kind, and funny. I love her as a person, and I feel that her photography work is the very best you can buy almost at any price point. Although I am no fashion model, I decided to book a session just for the fun of it. WOW! First of all, Kyle is so nice and easy to talk to, unassuming yet professional. He "matched" my personality to Old Montreal so we took some candid photos there before heading into the metro to do more indoor shots. I really liked one of his photos of a model in front of the train, so we successfully recreated it. The whole process was easy breezy - and just so much fun! The end result surpassed my expectations (which were quite high). And... it did. Actually they took exactly 6 months, but it was well worth the wait! Their team was so much fun to be with on our wedding day and they were not always in our faces. Our photos, and album are so stunning, that we were seriously at a loss for words. The video too, all the important moments and more, and everything they did was so professional.
