2 x instillation dates cancelled when new conservatory roof finaly installed wrong fittings for guttering to one side so job could not be finished , told had to pay in full & job would be completed asap. return visit to complete guttering booked for 1wks time, fitters failed to turn up, apologies from armour and new booking for 4 days time arranged. on day of rearranged booking fitters turned up' not original fitters. it was raining and first time i had been in conservatory since instillation to be greeted with a pool of water from leaking roof. i was informed that they couldnt repair leak the leak there & then due to rain & friday afternoon. another appointment made for following monday, when fitters arrived monday i was told leak was due to guttering missing & rectified! how can a company leave a job for 2wks knowing full well that if it rains it would probably leak! especialy as they brag about years of experience. Use this company at your own Peril! read more

1.0 star rating 15/6/2018 I regret using Armour Windows uk as they were a nightmare from start to finish. We had downstairs bay windows fitted by them. Alarm bells started to ring when I returned to the lounge after the workman had removed the old windows. He did not put down dust sheets. He had been traipsing plaster and rubble everywhere. My furniture had plaster dust and brick grit all over it even though I'd moved it to the over side of the room. It was to heavy and bulky to move it out. I had to find blankets and sheets to cover them and the floor after cleaning up and to prevent damage to my wooden flooring. 5 months after the windows were fitted I noticed wind blowing in through all 3 of the trickle vents in the bay windows because they would not close. It felt as if the Windows were open and the room was freezing even when the fire and heating was on. Friends and family commented when they visited. We called Armour Windows on numerous occasions they would not return calls and make up excuses. The customer service is shocking. Eventually they sent someone out to replace the faulty trickle vents. The workman repeated everything that Armour Windows said (there was only that type available), this was not true. He noticed after replacing the first vent that it did not make a difference he let us feel that the wind was still coming through which defeats the purpose of having double glazing. He did not bother to replace the other 2 and said he would report it to his bosses. We never heard from them so we contacted them a month later. They have been fobbing us off ever since hoping that we will accept the shoddy cheap materials they have fitted. They are also aware that the FENSA certificate that they present to you does not cover replacement windows, yet this is what induced us to think they reputable also being a family business with FENSA membership. I was so wrong, they are rude over the phone and constantly make excuses, even saying that they have no record of your previous call or say it must have been the other brother or relative that we had spoken to. They will have a reply to this honest review, everything I have written is true but no doubt they will deny it. I have to highlight our experience because we regret paying a large sum of money for poor workmanship and customer service. We are going to happily pay a different company that was recommended and we have checked, to fix our windows so that this nightmare is over. I resent having to give Armour Windows the 1 star. read more

Terrible company. I was advised new windows would take 3 days to fit, 4 months later job was still not finished. The worse part was that any work that was done was of poor quality, with contractors more concerned about their mobiles then doing a proper job. This meant that the same aspects had to be re done over and over again, with Armour unconcerned about the inconvenience. Windows arrived broken but were fitted one day only to be removed and refitted by another team and refitted with new glass the next day. Trim and sills, poorly fitted and had to be redone 3 times as they were either faulty or not fitted straight, and the wall had to be plastered twice. You get the idea. There are lots of other companies with hundreds of feedback-please don't pick Armour. There is a reason they are no longer on checkatrade (when they were they had less then 30 feedback) no matter what they promise they not a company that has any interest in its customers, nor produces a quality product. read more

Delighted with Armour Windows fitting my windows and fitting new fascias. I am 70 years old and in a very old house and was concerned if the new windows would look good. Gary & Wayne let me visit their showroom where I saw the toplights being made & i'm pleased to say they looked as pretty as the old ones. Any problems we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. I love the new front door! Thanks Gary for fitting the new knocker on too. The back door is also beautiful. Use Armour and rest assured you are in safe hands read more

I have had a really bad experience with this company, I have recently had my whole houses windows and doors replaced, during installation i noticed that the quality of work was far from acceptable. I have discussed my problems with a couple of different members of staff but felt quite intimidated as im a single parent and they were very pushy. I wish i hadnt of used this company.. read more

Only go with this company if you like being messed around. We were let down on actual fitting day (apparently our door wasn't on the delivery truck at the firm's depot) so we had to rearrange BUT they didn't bother to inform us, we had to ring them to confirm they were still coming! Two months later door was fitted. BUT the side panel of the porch was fitted the wrong way round so the grain ran the wrong way. Armour assured us they would be back to correct this also fit a hinge to stop the porch door opening all the way. When the bloke eventually turned up he had the wrong type of hinge and the replacement panel was incorrectly cut so had went away with work not done. Today Armour was supposed to do above work but a no-show. Apparently we weren't on the 'list', BUT this was after my hubby had spoken to two people supposedly in charge to ensure our door got finished today. Absolute shambles. Jade Johnston- I'm really surprised by these reviews, as I can honestly say I had the complete opposite experience with Armour Windows uk. The customer service was outstanding, any questions or queries I had were always answered and explained completely. My job was booked in for a week as a had a full house of windows and some doors, everything was excellent from the fitters to the products. We seen a couple of different fitters as when one of the fitters from another job finished early they would come and help on ours which I thought was fantastic. They were always polite and worked well, dust sheets were put down everywhere, nothing was to much trouble. I obviously expected some sort of mess as having windows ripped out wasn't going to be tidy, but they did their best to keep the mess to a minimum. I think you have to be realistic in what you expect but they did a fantastic job at tidying up after themselves . We actually did have to have Armour back out to do a slight door adjustment which was our fault as we had new flooring and didn't realise this would effect the measurements of the door, the person we spoke to on the phone was brilliant, they understood that these things happen they could of just said well it was your fault, but instead they did everything they could to make sure the door fit, they were helpful and responsive, and it was sorted straight away for us. Im so happy with windows and doors and would recommend armour to anyone. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Armour Windows, i was concerned the sales representative would be pushy but this was not the case at all. We had all of our windows and doors fitted by Armour Windows and they have transformed our home. The fitters were very professional and i would highly recommend Armour Windows to anybody who are looking to have their windows and doors done. I would like to thank everybody at Armour windows from the salesman, the fitters and all the staff in the office who were speaking with us throughout the process making it a fantastic experience. read more
