So just like their name says... they are an affordable and reliable moving service. I talked with Steve the whole time and he was able to quote me over the phone and even help me out at the last minute since I was calling movers 2 days before I actually had to move. The weekday quote was great because we needed something at a good price. He sent two people, himself and another worker, and I took them through the house and showed them what needed to be moved and instantly started working. We were out of our first place within an hour and a half since we had furniture upstairs. Met him at the second location and was done within a hour. Best part about them too was they let you control the time. He told me if I was working on a budget and needed to keep it low.... tell them we need to pick up the pace and they would. I thought that was a good thing for sure. Super great guys and like I said affordable. We paid about 250 for 2.5 and a travel fee. If you need movers, look no further! I had the best experience with Steve and Adrian! I had a last minute change on closing date for my place, and I was in need of movers quick. Steve re-scheduled his calendar to get me first thing in the morning. He called me later in the afternoon to confirm our move and he gave me a heads up when they were on the way to my place so I didn't have to wait around at my storage unit. Steve and Adrian are super professional and pretty much worked non-stop the entire time. They were cautious in their move to ensure that none of my furniture or my house would be damaged. There was no hidden fees with them. Steve told me straight up the cost of everything and the prices are super reasonable. This company is better priced than most other companies. These guys were great with our move! And I've been dealing with a lot of contractors, carpet installers, plumbers, AC repair, etc recently, and yelled at my fair share of people for their work or lack thereof as of late. So despite these guys being over 3 hours late, (and I was stressing about having our kids under 4 out of the house and getting this done), Steve made it right for us! These guys were the best!!! They showed up on time, explained everything in detail, and never ever slacked off. We moved my elderly parents and they were very polite and good to them. Nothing was damaged and they set everything up for us as we wanted it. I would highly recommend them for any moving you need done......not only are they great, but they were 1/2 the price that the other movers in the area were. This moving company is amazing! I wish I would have known about them the past several times I had moved. I was told about this company from Paulina who works at the complex I live in as she always uses them for her go to movers. Most places I've hired for my move have used the whole time quoted to move my stuff (one place quoted me 7 hours to move an 800 square foot apartment worth of stuff, and made sure to use up that whole time). Other moving companies charge you an arm and a leg, on top of hidden additional fees. ARMS does not do this at all; they quoted me 2 1/2 hours for the move and got it all done in an hour. Everything was explained to me thoroughly on what they charge and what services they provide up front. I had to move immediately, and they were able to schedule me in within a day. I was shocked at how reasonable priced they were and not one thing came back damaged which I've never had happen in all my previous moves. I had two gentlemen move my stuff from one apartment to the next. They were quick, efficient and made sure to take extra care with my belongings. On top of that, they were extremely friendly and never once did I see them slack around or try to use up that whole 2 1/2 hours that was originally quoted to me since they charge by the hour. I'm hoping I don't have to move anytime in the near future since I love where I live, but if I do need a moving company, I will definitely be using them again and I've already referred them to friends who I know will be needing a moving service in the near future. read more
