Dr.Flowers assisted me with care and was informative on my illness. I was in and out, I'm glad I came here instead of an ER where I would've waited hours before being seen. From reading the reviews it sounds better to make an appointment than a walk in because of course you won't be seen right away from others who made appointments.

Nobody was in the waiting room when I arrived, which was good since a doctor's office is always full. Ensure you complete the check-in they text you before you arrive, because they will not even check you in. It was all relatively easy and fast. The nurse came, did the triage, and then the doctor came in to assess. They discarded the things that were not wrong, but again, they did not tell me what was wrong. I think it's not bad for an emergency, but if it's something that you could go to the doctor to better diagnose, I would go.

Dr.Rollins and his staff are super duper nice and a pleasure to visit. For a few months up to my…read morevisit I was feeling super bummed out and tired all the time. My previous doc thought it was depression or thyroid issues but Dr.Rollins didn't take their word for it and ran blood work and figured out I was "severely deficient" in vitamin D. Which is weird bc I spend a lot of time outdoors. He hand wrote me a letter that I got in the mail two weeks after my appointment explaining it and telling me how much vit D to take and for how long and why. After a few weeks, I now feel back to my ole self and not tired anymore. I'm supposed to go back in three months for him to double check to see if I'm up to normal again and fig out why I was so deficient. Also, I explained in my first appt that I once went to a derm that never sent me my results no matter how many times I asked them to mail, email, or fax them to me. The next time I saw Dr. Rollins, he walked in with not just my file from that derm, but also their own derm who explained and interpreted my lab results from the other derm I went to a year ago and no they didn't charge me for it. Love this place.

My wife scheduled what was supposed to be her annual physical at this practice. She had been a…read morepatient here for years under Dr. K, who has since retired. During the appointment, the new physician asked questions about her existing medical history, including cholesterol and other previously diagnosed conditions. My wife answered those questions but did not seek treatment for any new issues. The physician ordered routine blood work, including tests that she has received as part of her annual physical for several years. We were surprised to later receive a bill for a separate office visit. We were told that because pre-existing conditions were discussed during the appointment, the visit was billed separately. We also received a separate bill from the lab for the blood work. What makes this particularly frustrating is that my wife has had these same routine tests performed during her annual physicals for the past four years at this practice without receiving an additional office visit charge or lab charge. Patients should be aware that discussing existing medical conditions during an annual physical at Northside Primary Care Midtown (previously Midtown Medical Associates), even when responding to questions from the physician, will result in additional charges. Basic tests such as cholesterol, lipid profile etc. is not covered under the annual physical with this practice anymore. We wish this had been explained clearly before or during the appointment so we could have made an informed decision. We are disappointed and concerned about the transparency of the billing process. We will look for another doctor.

Today I stopped in to ask if Dr. Aimee could perform an injection for sciatica and to make sure they had this medicine in stock. Just that question only, before I went to the emergency room. What I experienced was a total different no customer service attitude response to my kindness and concern. This is nothing like the medical professional service that we are use to experiencing. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted. Once the young lady appeared I was immediately given an attitude for no reason and she would not make eye contact nor apologize for keeping us waiting as three employees were laughing and socializing. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. She told me I would have to pay $150 and then she would see me (Dr. Aimee.) Super unprofessional all around. It is very disappointing as I am in tremendous pain and wanted to see a physician I could trust. My family and I will not be coming back.

The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.
