Hallo und guten tag!…read more Decided to stay here after learning that I had a long layover in Dusseldorf (June 2011). The staff is trained to speak English, but their English is not very good. The room was small but sufficient. It was very clean and even had a window that could be opened out so you can see the bustling traffic and nightlife outside. Had they not had a window, I would have never noticed the Turkish restaurant down the street where I ended up getting some really good food. I'd return here if I ever found myself in Dusseldorf since the stay and experience was good. Auf weiderzehen!

We were greeted by the owner/manager Petra, who went out of her way to help us. Even stopping traffic when I had to back up the car in a one way street. The rooms are very clean and modern. Two beds side by side and a third is a bunk bed. Emergency refreshments are available at no cost. We also received passes for free public transportation. I needed to check in and print boarding passes for our next morning's flight. Petra did that for us in two minutes. There is an umbrella in each room. A very nice touch, and unfortunately needed because it was raining that day. Cannot say enough about the service level. Parking is available just 100 yards away at a different hotel. The real early morning drive to the airport without any traffic to speak of, took just 15 minutes. We will be back.

The room was nice and clean, but ask for one facing the backsite, more quiet due to the tram and police headquarter at the front of the hotel. The breakfast has a good choice. To reach the fairground was ok by public transport, took about 20 minutes, but you have to change at the main train station. Overall a pleasant stay. Staff friendly. free WiFi very good
