I left the two other keys in their respective locks and handed her the third key with clear instructions. She said it would take about 10 minutes. In the back I hear her asking about some tool for the "smart look." After about ten minutes, she comes back with the door knob and says it's done but she can't find the tool to rekey the deadbolt. She said she thought there might be a tool on "the truck" but it was out on a service call. I left her my cellphone number and she said she'd call. Since I was on my lunch hour, I ran some errands and came back in about an hour. The truck had been sent on another job and she still didn't have the tool. At that point I said to just give me the deadbolt and I would take it somewhere else. She then informs me that the deadbolt doesn't work at all. Somehow she's broken it. She does replace the deadbolt but with a no-name low quality unit. Then to top it off, she's rekeyed both the replacement deadbolt and the door knob to the wrong key! So I had to wait another 10 minutes while they rekeyed again. Oh, and guess what? I got charged full price for that debacle. I should have followed my gut instincts when I first arrived and saw that they are also a used car lot.
