However, what wasn't clear to me is that cupcake orders are not customizable the way cake orders are. When ordering a cake, you can choose colors, decorations, and personalize it. With cupcakes, what you see in the photo is exactly what you get. There doesn't appear to be an option to change the colors, decorations, or customize them for your event. Because I assumed the cupcake ordering process would be similar to the cake ordering process, I ended up missing the ordering deadline. I believe cupcakes require at least a 24-hour notice, and by the time I realized customization wasn't available online, it was too late. I ended up going into the bakery and purchasing cupcakes that were already available. They were fine, but they weren't decorated the way I had wanted for my event. My suggestion to Sam's Club would be to either allow cupcake customization online like they do with cakes or make it much clearer during the ordering process that cupcake designs cannot be modified. It would save customers a lot of confusion and disappointment.

You have to book an appointment because it can easily take 1-1.5 hours each visit to go through all the options, figure out what follow up measurements are needed, confirmation with contractor etc before placing the order. And she needs time to log all the items for our purchase order. She was patient, helpful and thorough because she wanted to make sure we would be happy with our bathrooms and has the experience to call out what to focus on off the top of her head. And pricing is good - better than online and big box stores - and she didn't want me to blow budget which is appreciated. They don't return phone calls. Go in in person to make an appointment, they are pretty unfriendly and seem almost annoyed that you want one . As someone else here pointed out, then it's take it or leave the date offered. Even the person who directs calls to the correct voice mail sounds put upon. One has to wonder about what's wrong with the company that the staff sounds so out of sorts. There are much better places to go, where the staff is friendly and happy to help you- without an appt.

On to the review of the comic shop...This place has a lot going for it, graphic novels rack with 30% off, tee-shirts, wall comic books (expensive sought after comic books that are fun to look at on the wall) and what appears to be a large back issue stock. I was killing some time and only bought a comic book oversized sleeve with a backing to protect the first appearance of Shadow Moon Premiere issue 23. I recommend you stop in as they have everything from Alf put together figures to very nice pieces of art work detailing comic book icons. Very glad this store isn't too far away but if I am being honest I buy 99% of my comics online. Great selection of toys, comics (current issues line the walls, lots of back issues, and lots of wall books for serious collectors), a lot of trades (which are really well organized which is something that I think a lot of comic shops don't do nearly as well as they should - these guys do!). They also have a nice selection of Hot Toys and statues, as well as tshirts. What puts this place over the edge? The staff. This is not your stereotypical comic shop staff (which, to be fair, is not as common nowadays as when I was a kid) where the clerks would look at anyone who came in that wasn't a regular as an outsider to be shunned. These guys make all feel welcome, even those who know nothing of these nerdly delights. I've seen them help moms search for something for their kids as intently as regulars looking for a new book to try. The best thing I can relay, though, is a time I went with my son - we walked in, were greeted as we did, and went about perusing the store. As we walked around, one of the clerks came over to us, asked if it was ok to give something to my son, and gave him a little plastic Flash ring. It wasn't fancy but it was a touching gesture that made me and my son feel welcome, even moreso than we already had. So if you're looking for a comic book shop, this is your place!

He even sells those affordable mattress in a box kind, the one that unfurls and becomes a real, comfortable mattress. We were impressed. Vic was able to deliver both mattress and box spring the day after purchase. He delivers alone, I suspect, and is quite capable of doing all the work himself, but since you got a good deal on your new mattress, it would be nice to help him if you can (these are MY thoughts btw) He also takes the old mattress and box spring to dispose of, which costs about $35, same as our township, but I don't have to drag it out on big trash day. If any of the big places say they take your old mattress away for free, it isn't true. It has been two weeks since our purchase. I wanted to wait to see how my son liked it. He loves it. The owner will tell you that the mattresses are new but they're not they are returns from customers…read morethat are unhappy or old store demos. Most of the mattresses are defective. That's why the price is so cheap. You think you're saving money but in the long run you'll just have to go elsewhere and buy a new mattress.
