    For years, I had Gibran as my agent and everything went smoothly. Then my auto insurance rate…read moreincreased substantially after an accident. I shopped and found a much lower rate at another agency/insurance company. He would call me every year and run the numbers and he could not beat my premium rate. Then last year he was able to so I switched back to statefarm. This year I was shopping for a new car and instead of dealing with Gibran, I was handed over to a person named Mia. I am on a budget and I needed to factor in any increase with my new car payment since it had been 25 years since I had a car payment. She texted me quotes every time I texted her a VIN number which was very helpful. I told her I was dashing around, trying to get a good amount for my trade-in from Carfax or Carvana, etc. We had a few phone conversations and out of the blue, she told me my card had been charged $151. What? The last quote she had given me was $135. She could not tell me what this $151 stood for. But she assured me I would receive a check in the mail in 7 to 10 days! What the what? The day after buying my car, I found out that she was including both my old car that I had traded in and the new car on my quote. So that is when I started speaking with Gibran. He quoted me in an amount of $105 per month. But this was inaccurate. This was a prorated amount and actually my monthly premium would've been about $30 more, so the amount Mia had quoted me. But it was less than the $170/month. I was initially quoted when both cars were on the policy. (In error). When I looked at the statefarm site, it had both my old car and the new car on it for several days. I think on day 4 after buying my car, my old car was removed, but now I had two policies with the same VIN number! My original policy and then another policy with an 'A' added to the end. They were both for different amounts. Was repeatedly told that it took a long time for their website to update. I had had it. I called Progressive, got a much lower "and was done in about 20 minutes after adding both my car and renters insurance. I then called statefarm and spoke with Mia again, and initially told her to take my credit card off my account, (because the policyholder cannot do this on their end through the app or online!). A month after she had done that I told her that I wanted to cancel both policies I had with them as of that moment. I later received a very nice phone call from Gibran apologizing for everything that happened. But I based my whole purchase on the quoted amount for both my New and Old (traded) cars. Deep run was very nice, but honestly, I think he should retire. He promised me a gift card would be sent to me for all I had gone through but... I never received the gift card !

    I was concerned about a quote I received and called to talk about it. Gibran was quick to respond…read morewith a callback. I have not had to file a claim with my insurance . But so far have been satisfied with Gibran's response to my inquiries.
