Very beautiful and modern property. Mario is a warm, friendly, and helpful host at this "B&B" (more like a 5-star hotel). Gorgeous, spacious rooms with high ceilings. Very comfortable king-sized bed - not the kind you frequently find in Europe (two twins pushed together), but a real king! L'Occitane toiletries in the beautiful bathroom! Soft drinks, water, Nespresso machine, and Lindt's Lindor chocolates included at no charge in the room. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious! Eggs made to order - I got a ham and cheese omelette that was both delicious and had a beautiful presentation. A basketful of breads and croissants served with butter and 4 different jam selections. A large selection of beverages, from frothy cappuccino to hot chocolate made with warm milk. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a generous serving of the sweetest fresh fruit salad, not to mention the larges blueberries I've ever seen! Mario's attention to detail is incredible - from the amenities in the room, to the way the lobby smells like a spa when you walk in, to the recommendations for restaurants (all the ones we tried are delicious; see my other reviews in Brussels) and sightseeing route, to the fact that there are zero scuffs on the walls (he joked about painting constantly, but I found out later he actually does!). What a wonderful experience. I wish Mario had more properties around the world that I could visit! read more

This is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it felt more like a 5-star hotel than a B&B. Mario greeted us with beverages and an extensive set of maps to great sights and restaurants. This was infinitely helpful and I appreciated his attention to detail and the explanations of exactly how to get to places. When you're in a new city, it's nice to have a list of food options ready to go. The room was gorgeously done and included free wi-fi and an Apple computer to use. The fridge was stocked with drinks, including wine, soda, and water, and there were some chocolates and robes laid out on the bed. Each room also had a Nespresso machine, which made amazing coffee. The bathroom was immaculate and had the nicest shower, I've ever used. The towels were luxurious. And, if this weren't all nice enough, the bed was super comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. In the morning, Mario offered breads with butter, jam, and preserves, ham, cheese, and eggs cooked to you preference, yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, and a variety of Nespresso coffee drinks. It was the perfect, personalized breakfast. Breakfast was served from 7-10 in a lovely, bright seating area. I cannot recommend Art de Sejour enough. We would come back to Brussels just to stay here again. Mario's pride in ownership is evident and you will leave feeling completely pampered. read more

This was an amazing B&B find! Right near the center of Brussels, very short walk to the Grand Place. The room and bathroom were enormous compared to places we've stayed elsewhere in Europe. Bathroom was stocked with toiletry items, mini fridge contained chocolates, cookies, water, soda, wine, and coffee, and bedroom had a computer with Internet access, all free for guests' use. The host was very knowledgeable and spent time going over walking routes he had printed for us, circling restaurants and points of interest. He made breakfast for the guests each morning- fruit puree shooter, eggs, ham, smoked salmon, fruit, yogurt, granola, basket of breads with assorted jam - really great way to start off a full day of exploring Belgium! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a B&B in Brussels! read more
