Just left this place. I had a slow leak in my right rear tire. The guy located the problem immediately. (Screw in tire) He took the tire off patched it up and I was on my way within 10 minutes. 10 bucks! The staff was very friendly. I talked to the owner while the work was being completed. I was desperate to get a flat tire fixed, but what car place in the city is open on a Sunday, and a Sunday during Labor Day weekend no less? Well, Art's Tires is. It's no chain tire place, no. It's better. I waited 10 minutes before they could get my car in. I popped open my car trunk, the man grabbed my flat tire, removed the nail, patched it up and was already replacing the spare on my car within 5 minutes time. I had been dealing with a slow leak that was turning into a fast leak very quickly. I went in today, after reading the reviews and hearing that Firestone would be an all day wait. I can't tell you how amazing and honest the team at Art's is. I waited just a few minutes while they repaired the car ahead of me. Once I pulled in, my tire was off in lightening speed. After exchanging a few pleasantries with Sergio, I heard some "popping" from the rear. That sound was the sound of my repaired tire. Moments later I heading on my way. Been here a few times.... the place isn't the cleanest. And the workers might not come out as too friendly. That being said... they know their stuff. I've had three flats... unfortunately on three different tires over the past couple years. I've brought it to them and i'm in and out in 5-10 minutes. once i waited 1/2 hour because they had a line. I'm out of here faster then when i've gone to firestone or goodyear. The cost are extremely reasonable. If you can get past the superficial look of the place of the perceived abrasive workers.... then you'll get your tire fixed at a fraction of the cost of other places. they'll do an awesome job and they are no nonsense. read more

These guys are very skilled, but boy do they play games. I went here last week and requested to have my tire and rim either fixed or replaced. The technician (unknown name) told me that the tire was out of stock and I should return in an hour when the tire would be available. Upon return, I was told that he didn't have the tire and that I needed a new rim, which he did not have either. I was advised to search local junk yards for a used tire and rim. After informing him that I did not have time to search junkyards, he advised me to look online. Long story short, I ordered four rims online and had them delivered the next day. When I returned to Arts, a different technician told me that I didn't need new rims and proceeded to repair the tire and rim for $20. I am happy with the work completed, but why the wrong information that happened to be costly? read more

I read all of the positive reviews with the swift service and affordable price, so I was sold. The staff was friendly. As soon as I pulled up, James walked towards me and I told him my situation. Him and the other guy were efficient, even though there was a woman there before me. I even told them they were superstars on Yelp and they were unaware. Searched for used tire spot on Yelp at 4 PM on a Sunday and discovered Art's. I called the shop to ask if they had 2 used tires in my size, they had 3. Showed up 15 mins later and the guy I spoke with on the phone was even friendlier in person. Another 15 mins after that, I had 2 (relatively/70%) new tires for $100, paid by credit card, and was on my way. At one point he offered additional tires, but when I hesitated for a few seconds, he said if i have to think about i then it's better I just take the 2 I originally came in for. I needed a quick fix for my deflating tire...stat. Ever since the nearby Jiffy Lube rotated my tires, I've been having problems with my front wheel air pressure. The rim isn't snug and air seeps out. Sergio from Art Tires was able to figure that out right away and he did a temporary fix on it by sealing the air gaps. I got this done last Sunday and my air pressure is still good.
