This store is in a pretty great location with all the bus stops nearby. If I'm already shopping in Commercial Road I might pop in this branch, but as there is now a Poundland just a across the Road, I'd probably shop in there. They are still good value though, and this one seems to have quite a lot of bits for the kitchen in it. Stock doesn't seem to change very often (unlike Poundland) so I find it's not really worth going in unless I need something. This time of year they're always full of cheap Christmas decorations.

I really used to love Toys R Us as a child, I was only allowed to visit once or twice a year to get christmas and birthday and I loved going round with all the toys. As an adults toys and games still have they're appeal but to me Toys R Us has lost it, catering for cheap quality imported toys to sell easily and it really does annoy me. And the prices aren't competitive at all. Still good for board games and often has 3 for 2 on different brands.

There is easy parking and the store is really easy to navigate. Staff are friendly and helpful and are also very informative on the products on offer. Not the cheapest toy store in town when you have Tesco's Homebase and the entertainer nearby. They also seem to not have everything in stock and tend to sell out of all the newest and most wanted toys so quickly and take ages to get stock back in.
